Sibyl
A cold night of snow
The moon is on show
Sibyl beholds the waxing crescent
"The moon is a masquerade at present"
Sibyl is no ingénue
She sees the rest obscured from view
For sure she's no Prince Charming's love
More a child deprived of love
A French Count is her father
Sibyl abides in a rather
Devout, evil orphanage. In her mind
She had three husbands (to which she was not too kind)
Intoxicating, ineffable, infallible girl
Cavorts around the piano with a twirl
In a delirious state
She cannot wait
Floats down to the lakes
Poison, out she takes
Sings for the fishes
Makes three wishes
Goes the way of Sibyl Vane
Never to breathe again
Sibyl, you've gone way too far!

The Blood Moon
The Blood Moon came at half past ten
It used to be seen as a bad omen
He was filled with dread
As the moon turned red
Just what tradgedies will this one bring?
Threw his top hat on the frozen lake
Felt the wrath of the thunder and started to shake
Such a scared young man
Runs away if he can
So why has he bought his sweetheart a ring?
It was too much to take, all the tiresome mind games
He threw his spectacles into the Thames
Tossed away all his cares
As he climbed the golden stairs
To Heaven, where the merry angels sing

A poem.
Jack the Ripper
Imagine a young woman stepping onto a boat
She goes alone; her fancy-man stays at home
He says: "Think of me when you're over there
Think of me and how much I care
And when you come back from your journey across the sea
Will you, darling, marry me?"
Two days later he's with a woman of the street
But he covers his face; he has to be discreet
Flees the scene, a bloody knife in his hand
Horrified at himself and the things he has planned
Looking up at the blackened sky
He swears he hears that woman cry:
"You, man, walking down this street at night
Please pay tribute to me if I die
And you, sir walking this street at night
Hurry up, save me, I can see the light!"
The next day, he goes to see his family
His nephews, his nieces, his sister Emily
He watches the children run around the chimney block
And listens to the ticking of the grandfather clock
He thinks: "Look at these children having so much fun
If only they knew what I have done..."
His lover, she was killed in a terrible storm
That's when this new character began to form
He says: "Lock up your daughters; here I come
You will never guess some of the things that I've done
I'll slit your throat, that's my way of attack
You better watch it love because my real name is JACK"
