- One sunny morn in November, 5 ordinary young men had a dream, to form the greatest band in the world, but that didn't work cos they realised they were going to a formal the night before and wud be in no fit state to sing "Let Me Entertain You" or "Bohemian Rhapsody"
They decided to perform a song that would change the lives of many people in Loreto and together formed the Funtime Frankies
And On December 20th 2007 after James sleeping in and leaving the backing track at Joe's House, Joe gettin concussed and Paudie being sick in the toilets they finally they made their debut performance to two sell out crowds. Although they did not win "Loretos Got Talent" (Congratulations to both winners) second place did not matter as it was a moral victory and Yes, They Did It Their Way!

i love my band..........best missions day of my life, just for those 5 minutes on stage......it was emotional......tears were shed, laughs were laughd....boke was boked and words were forgotten.........wat a moment it was
me, sittin here at 01.25 am nw thinkin of dat day, and the shivers cumin up my back before the peformance, the crowd in front of us, every1 cheerin, me askin paddy d words 2 d 1st line, den jst gttin on with it..........cin people leave cuz d bell had gone....yet d majority stayed....the faithful. then as we finished, d crowd at its finest.....all us boys lookin at each other....pride on our faces dat we havnt shown before........then we leave....nt carin hu won.....it didnt matter to us..........we had got the reaction that we wanted......we got the love of the crowd...........1 word AMAZING
