    • Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - New Moon Trailer!!!

      As like every year, on the opening night, I sat in the cinema, waiting on the edge of my seat to see the latest Harry Potter film.

      The previews started, '2012,' 'Up,' 'The Last Airbender,' 'Where the Wild Things Are' and . . . OH MY GOSH! IT CAN'T BE!!!! NEW MOON!!!!!! :O :D

      Every girl in the audience 'Squeed!!!!' at the same time! My mouth dropped open and I clutched my sister's hand. I couldn't believe it! :))

      We had gone to see so many films last year and waited each time to see a Twilight trailer, (that never came).
      So sitting there, not remotely thinking of, nevermind expecting a trailer for a film that doesn't come out for another four months, we couldn't believe what we were seeing!

      Like everyone else, we had seen the trailer on youtube, but to see Edward and Jake on the big screen doesn't even compare with youtube! Lol.
      It was brilliant! :D

      Ah, what a Twilight obsession will do to you, your friends and family! :L

      Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else saw the trailer before HP?

      We saw it in a 'Showcase' cinema and we live in South Wales, UK.
      Anyone from around that area?

      Oooh, and what did you guys think of HP?
      Me and my sis thought it was the best film yet! :)
      It stayed really true to the book and was really different from the other films, in a good way.
      Anyone agree?

      Hi everybody!

      I wanted to apprise you all of a few upcoming things.

      You know I've been doing the hermit thing this last year, in so far as media is concerned, and I'm not changing that now, but I am making an exception. I'm doing this for a good reason: I am so pleased and amazed and thrilled with what Chris Weitz has done with New Moon that I want to talk about it, and to show my support for him. And since I'm only doing one interview, better make it big. Really big. So....I will be on The Oprah Winfrey Show on Friday, November 13th. Check the local listings on Oprah's website to find out what time it will be on where you live.

      Of course, most of the questions for Oprah will be designed for a broader audience than just die-hard Twilight fans, and I imagine people who read this site and other fansites will already know most of the answers. To rectify this, I'm going to answer your more specific questions on-line. The official Twilight Saga website (www.TheTwilightSaga.com) will be taking any New Moon movie-related questions you might have for me, and then I'll answer those most frequently asked. I'll post the answers on the Twilight Saga website and also here on my own site. Questions can be submitted to TheTwilightSaga.com from noon (Eastern Standard Time) on Monday, November 9th through noon Tuesday, November 10th. The answers will be posted Monday, November 16th—or New Moon Premiere Day, as it is known around my house. (Details about submitting the questions will be posted first thing Monday morning at TheTwilightSaga.com, you can also get more information below.)

      I'm so very excited that you'll all get to see New Moon in just two weeks! Then you'll see what I'm going on about. Until then, think up some good questions for me.

      Casting Rumor for 'Eclipse'

      E! Online is reporting that Kirsten Prout has been cast as vampire 'Lucy' in 'Eclipse'. ***Remember that this is not an official Summit Entertainment announcement***

      The 19-year-old Vancouver native will star as vampire Lucy in the highly anticipated third installment of the Twilight series, her rep confirmed to E! News.

      Lucy is a prominent part of Jasper's backstory and builds a bloodsucking army with Catalina Sandino Moreno's Maria. Maria and the newest Cullen will eventually kill her.

      Jackson Talks Taylor

      Jackson Rathbone spoke to MTV about Taylor's performance in 'New Moon'. He also talked about how Taylor started swaying half of the cast and crew to become Team Jacob.

      The growing relationship between Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Jacob is a pivotal part of "New Moon." And though Edward's role has been beefed up despite his physical absence from much of the story, Lautner had big shoes to fill as he stepped into the leading man role.

      "Taylor Lautner really stands out in this film, and I think people are going to be really blown away by his performance," Rathbone said. "You have these great moments that Jacob just completely is winning over Bella. And it's just beautiful to see it. It's all in their eyes."

    • Jackson Rathbone Discusses Jasper's 'Eclipse' Flashbacks


      Actor's big scenes in third 'Twilight' film involve riding horses, training Cullens to fight.

      BOSTON — If "New Moon" is the low point of Jasper Hale's presence in the "Twilight" saga, then "Eclipse" is the high. When MTV News caught up with Jackson Rathbone last week on the set of his indie flick "Girlfriend," he still had two weeks of "Eclipse" filming left. Much of his shooting had been completed, and he shared some of the big scenes he had already finished.

      "I got to go back into my old roots, got to ride some horses again, which was nice. Got to put these riding boots to use, which is good," Rathbone said, motioning to his boots. "I actually can ride a horse."

      In "Eclipse," Jasper tells Bella (Kristen Stewart) about his life before he met Carlisle Cullen (Peter Facinelli). Unlike Edward (Robert Pattinson), Rosalie (Nikki Reed), Esme (Elizabeth Reaser) and Emmett (Kellan Lutz), both Jasper and Alice Cullen (Ashley Greene) were transformed into vampires before they met Carlisle. Jasper plays a large role in the third installment of the series because he is the only vampire among them who knows how to combat the newborn vampire army Victoria (now played by Bryce Dallas Howard) is building.

      Jasper's backstory, which takes place during the Civil War, will be told through flashbacks, Rathbone confirmed. Though the explanation of Jasper's history takes up a good portion of the novel, he hinted that the film version would be shorter.

      "It was just really fantastic to get to delve in there and to get to don all the Civil War regalia and whatnot. That was a pleasure," he said. "I had to wear this wool suit of a major, cavalry major. "I got the big hat and everything. Hop off the horse, bow to these ladies, and then I get eaten. And then I get turned!"

      There will also be flashbacks of Jasper training newborn vampires while he's still "a bad dude, a bad vampire," Rathbone said. He added that training from another film, "The Last Airbender," including wrestling, hand-to-hand combat and weapon play, was useful since there wasn't much time to prepare for the fight scenes in "Eclipse." But Rathbone was quick to clarify none of the vampires' combat scenes would be martial art-y.

      Rathbone said Jasper will tell Bella his story after a training sequence where he helps the Cullens prepare for the newborn army that's approaching.

      "It's actually the first time Bella and Jasper interact that's longer than one sentence, or me attacking her," Rathbone said, laughing. "Kristen and I kept saying it was really nice to get to work together because we had never had a chance to really, kind of, like, get into some dialogue."
