- Maximum the Hormone is a four-member Japanese Metal band, formed in 1998.
Their music has been described as striking contrasts between Pop Punk, Funk and Heavy Metal.

♂ Futoshi Uehara - Bass Guitar/Vocals
For years, the band remained underground, each release slowly increasing thier fanbase. However, 2006's single "Koi no Megalover" shot them to national fame. Some of their songs even started to feature in anime series. With this promotion, the band released Buiikikaesu. The album topped charts, and the band has since been touring internationaly.
