Needless to say, I ´m German and I study English and Politics at Bonn University in Western Germany.It is situated near Cologne and Aachen, my hometown near the Dutch and Belgian border. In 2003/2004, I spent a year abroad in Melbourne, Australia where my pen friend lives. Well, and now I am doing Erasmus in Ireland and I enjoy it the highest, seriously.
I originally set up this page to keep in touch with my Australian friends. However -since they all switched to Facebook shortly after and since Bebo is entirely unknown in Germany- I haven´t been using this network for years.
I suppose this is the chance for a change now that I´m in Ireland given the fact that some people here seem to be somewhat addicted to Bebo...:-)

- "Jenseits der Stille" ("Beyond silence") (German film about a girl with deaf parents playing the clarinette excellently ). Recent films include "Keinohrhasen" ("Rabbits without ears") and "Goodbye, Lenin!" (recommended to anyone wanting to learn about German history around the final stage of the Berlin Wall in an unconventional and extremely funny way)I also like many novels which have been turned into a film, eg."Holes" by Louis Sachar and "Match Point". A great film about doing Erasmus is "L´auberge espagnole" ("The Spanish Apartment").

I have seen a lot of my home country Germany (82 million inhabitants), almost all major European Capitals (Paris, London, Rome, Brussels, Prague etc.and, of course, Dublin! ), some less known capitals ( e.g.Tallinn in Estonia and Riga in Latvia) and lots of other places and islands, Tunisia, Singapore (stopover), USA: New York, Orlando, Miami, AUSTRALIA : Melbourne and Victoria, Sydney
- Personal Music
- I play the violin and all types of recorder (Ensemble). In Germany, I play in the University Orchestra and I sing in the Parish´ Taize choir and Gospel choir.

Really that's great, when are you planning?? I had marc sarah and ciaran up for a couple of days there so it was great to see them.. Let me know your plans and don't worry about somewhere to stay, it is not an issue with all of us around. My parents have said you are welcome any time and if you come to Donegal mum will take you to see some sights and unlike your tour bus we will not get lost!!haha!xxxx

Good to hear from u! Yep not up to much at mo! Both working and enjoying summer though the enjoying bit would be better if we actualy had summer weather! Hope suns out a bit more there in Germany!
Actually just finished today with a special needs summer camp, which was class! The school it was ran at was very similiar to stepping stones!
Glad to hear ur aiming to come back!! Maynooth won't let u go that easy!!

I'm well. Sorry I haven't been in contact sooner. I was in Kerry for the last few days. We miss you too. We met up in Dublin a few weeks ago but we're thinking of going up to Donegal to visit Jackie the last week of July. What do you think?

Well i have been working most days in the restaurant but i have met up with sarah and marc once! my gr8 aunt has just died so i was at the wake today and will be there tomorrow aswell and the funeral will be wednesday! you have to come back or we will come to Germany and bring you back!! im not joking!!
