- Named after the 10p mixups you got at school, you just never know what you’re going to get next with THE MIXUPS. Based in Glasgow the four young, talented musical-players have been a group since early 2009 and progress has been whizzical! Just listen to new self titled mini-record for ear evidence.
National and local radio airplay spins have been spun by the likes of Mark Lamarr (radio 2) and Jim Gellatly (radio scotland) all adding to the ball of hype surrounding THE MIXUPS.
Chief songwriter, rhythm guitarist and vocals Jamie Cameron (23), the face with the bass, Ryan Tobias (20), drummer/man-monkey Paul Preston (23) and lead guitar/keys Jamie Haffey (20) make up all the young dudes
With a splash of sixties style, a dash of nineties groove and a helping of naughtiness from the noughties, THE MIXUPS are looking to roar into whatever the second decade of this century will be called.

Mixups Latest (and FREE stuff)
First off, hello to all Mixups patrons. If you're under age, come in anyway and sit quietly in the corner with a vodka.
If you're wondering where the new E.P is, well it's currently in digital format only - flying around through people and walls, etc. We're in the "design and planning stage" after fully completing the musical side of things and the offical release will be after Christmas. Just can't compete with the X Factor Xmas single.
To (yule) tide you over 'till then we've got a home recording of Another You up on Bebo and our myspace. Anyone wanting to have it on their Ipod or CD just email us at themixups@hotmail.co.uk or leave a comment with your address and we'll send you the MP3 - FOR FREE!

New E.P
After 4 long days (especially Sunday with outrageous hangovers) in the studio our new E.P is complete. We've yet to print up physical copies so if you want a sneaky peaky at next weeks show go to our myspace: www.themixups.com.
Not to be outdone by the Beatles we've remastered Billy Whizz and the Normals so get an earful of those too.
KING TUTS on Wednesday. Get in contact with one of the band for cheaper tickets. Why pay more on the door?

MIX-UP-DATE
See what I did with the headline? eh? Endless fun.
Our new E.P recording starts in less than 2 weeks. Vennel Shuffle with Dancin Feet and Death by Misadventure. Not a bad couple of B sides.
We hope to have it ready and printed by our gig at KING TUTS on October 7th. Hope everyone can make it. Since it's a Wednesday night your incentive will be a free copy of the new E.P with every ticket. IF we get it done on time. You know the music industry - it's a shit business son.
Also just confirmed is a gig in THE VENNEL on halloween night! Spooky shuffling to be had no doubt. On september 19th we play Klub 21 in Alloa which could be the start of a monthly residence if all goes well.
We also need to get a photoshoot done but the new guy's an ugly caaant so we're putting it off as long as poss. Joke jamiecameronhaffey.
