Hello my name is Lyra Belacqua. I grew up in Jordan College in Oxford, England. One day, me and my dæmon, Pan, were exploring then retiring room when i saved my Uncle Asriels life. I then learned that dust is an important part in the gobblers work of abducting children. Later, a women showed up called Mrs. Coulter and told me she needed an assistant up in the North. Before i left, the Master of Jordan College gave me a golden Compass. He said no one should know i have it and to keep it safe. I found out Mrs. Coulter was leading the gobblers and ran away. I got attacked by Tarters but was saved by gyptians. We headed up to the North to save the missing children and up there i met an Armoured Bear, called Iorek. I helped him get his armour back and he is now helping me and is a good friend. Shortly afterwards, we were attacked and i was captured by gobblers. They took me were the missing children were and i did what i did best, spying.

- But they caught me and almost cut Pan away from me. But Mrs. Coulter saved me just in time and she told me she was my mother and Lord Asriel was my dad. I got away from her and found the gyptains again. Then i went to The Bear King, Iofur, and tricked him into fighting Iorek. He did, and Iorek won and was crowned king. I then freed my father and used my friend Roger to open the world in the sky. He killed Roger, and i was horrified. Now all i have for comfort is my dear little Pan.

- Pan is my dæmon. Since im still young, he can still change into any animal he wishes, though he seems to like and be an ermine. I love him with all my heart and no one will ever be able to take him away from me!
