The past year since I turned 18 I've come to enjoy the finer things in life.
Sure September 2008 was fantastic.
I was 18, I could get pissed on Bulmers cider and sambuka in a crappy night club. I could buy a packet of Marlboro Lights in any shop or pub. I could eat as much junk food as I well fucking liked.
But I noticed in the past 4-5 months, none of this appeals to me anymore.
I'm 18. I can get pissed on Bulmers cider and sambuka in a crappy night club. Why? I'd rather have a few pints of Arthur's finest stout in comfortable pub, followed by a relaxing brandy.
I can buy a packet of Marlboro Lights in any shop or pub. Why? I'd rather not stink of poor mass produced tobacco, though I wouldn't mind smelling of some smooth and delicious cigars
I can eat as much junk food as I well fucking like. Why? If you think about it, Micko's tastes great. But too much of it is like taking too much heroin. Why the fuck would you do it? Satisfy some completely ridiculous craving in your body at the price of making you feel absolute shite.
So have I just aged 50 years in the last few months, or am I just logical?
