hey hunny! how are you! hope your enjoying your summer- only a few weeks now b4 we back to college- Arrived in Hanoi yesterday from laos- strange being back in the big city after the last few weeks of little villages and paddie fields- the last 6 weeks have flown- spent 2 weeks on the islands in the south of thailand-beautiful beaches blues skies and lots of partying but a little too commercial for our liking - heading up north was a nice change - spent a few weeks travelling up into the mountains up north- b4 crossing the border into laos - travelling south through laos by boat along the mekong river.. & now here we are in vietnam( not as hospitable as thailand or laos it seems) but part of this trip i was looking forward to most- and so far so good- hanoi is pretty cool- interesting mix of french colonial architecture, socialist republic flags/propaganda posters and the chaos of any asian city- thousands of mopeds, colourful street stalls and 35 degree heat.. so approx two weeks to
