Me, Myself, and I: Spacehotel was formed in 2000. Created by and consisting of one man, Coventry, England born Paul Timson previously of obscure indie band ‘Outsider’ (1995-1999)

Timson writes, produces, sings and performs all songs by Spacehotel.

Spacehotel’s music is influenced by Timson’s earliest memories of late 70s rock and pop such as ELO, The Bee Gees, The Police and Queen and even moreso by British bands in the early 80s especially Duran Duran. Britpop bands like Blur, Supergrass and Pulp and bands of the mid/late 90s like Mansun were the defining influences for Spacehotel.

Other less obvious influences come from a variety of genres and include wildly different artists like Jean Michel Jarre, AIR, Kate Bush and The Beloved.

yep, i saw some random article stove did for BBC wiltshire or something, apparently they are playing together again... although there is nothing on any of the mansun websites that suggests it. oh well, we can only wait and pray fervently...
