and i am the queen of the Claddagh here in Galway and the cause of the cryptosporidum out break. I'm just out of Limericks women prison for robbing cotton wool balls, and for knocking over a stand in the Poundshop and causing £4 worth of damage.
I orginate from the Crystal City - Waterford and have treaded the boards in many a place including Gran Canaria which I call my second home I lived there for 2 years. Been reigning over Claddagh now for the last year and loving it all the Galweigins have taken me to their bossoms and they will be eternally grateful.
I married the Mr Gay Galway "Hilton" and we are doin a series with T na G called "Desperatly Seeking House Wives"

Alternative Miss Ireland
Alternative Miss Ireland is a pageant that expands all known definitions of beauty. Inspired by Andrew Logan’s Alternative Miss World, AMI grabs the traditions of Daywear, Swimwear and Eveningwear by the heels and drops them head first on to the stage at the Olympia Theatre for one, literally incredible, night. This pageant embraces men, women and anything else you can possibly imagine (and there has been quite a lot of imagining) in spectacular competition for the title ‘Queen of Ireland: Alternative Miss Ireland’ — an alternative ambassador to represent our culture and patriotic pan-gender emblem for the 21st century, a role that Miss Funtime Gustavo has been carrying on with gay abandon for the past 12 months. This year AMI celebrates her 20th Tranniversary (having been born in 1987 in a dark back alley in Dublin) and there is much to celebrate: from her humble beginnings, AMI has been dedicated to raising money for Irish HIV/AIDS organisations, and raised €30, 000 in 2006 alone. Originally held in Sides Dance Club, Dublin, on April Fool's Day 1987, the Alternative Miss Ireland has over the years repackaged itself with considerable brio.

The premise of the show is quite obvious; contestants (open to men, women and animals, although only one dog has entered in its history) are judged in the tradition of day-wear, swim-wear and evening-wear.

A group of celebrity judges awards points for poise, personality and originality and after considerable nail-biting and some superb "filler" entertainment the winner, Queen of Ireland, is crowned.

Dragging performance into the future this visual and aural spectacular is an hilarious, exotic and at times downright beautiful event, with a serious and caring purpose at its heart. Almost one hundred volunteers representing a variety of expertise and disciplines come together every St. Patrick's Week to ensure a fabulous show and in doing so raise considerable funds for much neede
The A.M.I Team
The contest is run by Niall Sweeney, Rory O'Neill, Trish Brennan and Tonie Walsh. Each year (since 1996) it has been hosted by Emcee Panti. It was originally the brainchild of Frank Stanley and Ross Elliot Tallon, inspired by Andrew Logan's Alternative Miss World. It is put together by a large team of volunteers, without whom the show just wouldn't be possible. We hope to bring you more information about how the contest is put together, and the people behind it as soon as we can!

On the night of the pageant the stage is a populated by a huge crew to make sure nothing is left to chance. Noel Sutton has the demanding job on the day of looking after all matters backstage and then, after donning his gœna as Dizzy Dy'n For It, she (along with her sister, Dolly) has to make sure everything runs smoothly up front.       After being unsuccessful with the intensive science courses in high school, Phinit AKA Tonic finally realised that Arts Programs were what his life is pursued of. He took a big turn to a further study of Communication Arts in a college and started to claim the various skills of Radio & Television production. However, based on his telent of Club DJing which he has taught himself since he was 15, plus the passion of Electronic music.
