- This group is dedicated to the bands & artists that make up the scottish unsigned music scene. For too long the industry has been lacking music from Scotland & instead has been dominated by mainly English & American acts, but with bands like The Fratellis, Franz Ferdinand, The View & artists such as KT Tunstall, Paulo Nutini, Sandi Thom & Amy McDonald, Scottish talent is finally being taken seriously and given a platform to shine.
The aim of this group is to focus more on the unsung hero's, the bands and artists that struggle to get by and to get heard, many of which make no money and in fact in many cases are seriously out of pocket just to be able to play their music and establish some sort of following.
If you are an original act or band, or know of one, please feel free to upload images, post your online links or post a comment telling everyone details such as new recordings, upcoming gigs, etc. Please only submit if you're original & serious about your music. All comments and uploads will be reviewed and anything deemed unsuitable will be removed. This is a serious effort to encourage raw scottish talent & hopefully introduce their music to people who otherwise might not have known of their existence. The group is open to all styles & genres of music.
Please join & put in your top 12. With a bit of luck we can build a mini online community who share a passion for unsigned music in Scotland.

Reliable drummer wanted for serious rock band playing original material. Preferably under 30 and live within Livingston or surrounding areas. Must have own kit, transport is a bonus. Gig booked for april, more to follow. Band influences include Foo Fighters, Oasis, Feeder, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath. Gigging experience not essential but must be dedicated and willing to tour in future. No time wasters please!
