The PURPLE Group aims to provide information and support for people, who are in or have completed gender transition. We aim to achieve this through a range of activities directed at the needs of this community in the North West area. The PURPLE Group aims to provide a safe, secure and comfortable environment in which members of this community can prosper, giving each individual the space to develop and become confident around their identified gender

The Purple Group meets monthly and offers a drop in service as well as getting involved in other projects during the year. In 2009 we will hold the first Transsexual Residential in Northern Ireland and run an Awareness Campaign leading up to International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia. We wil also run several social events.
