Sit
To teach your dog "sit" you need to pet your dogs head and then bring your stylus down. Then the mic icon should come up in the top-right corner of the screen.

Lie Down
To teach your dog to "lie down" you need to have your dog sit and then pet your pup with the stylus and then bring the stylus down.

Shake/paw
To teach your dog to "shake/paw" your dog needs to be sitting. grab your pup's paw with the stylus and pull it all the way up and then let go.

Shake/Butt
To have your dog shake its butt, your dog needs to be happy and it will do it on its own.

Roll Over
To teach your dog to "roll over" your dog can either be sitting or lying down. Pet your dogs head and then have your stylus go to either the right or left of the screen.

Sneeze
To make your dog sneeze, tap your dogs nose.

Spin
to teach your dog how to "spin" or "chase its tail" you need to grab onto your dogs tail and then your dog will stare at it and then chase it.

Jump
Your dog needs to be happy and shaking its butt. Tap above your dog to make them jump.

Beg
To teach your dog "beg" have your dog standing, not sitting, and then pet them and have your stylus go up. They wont get it on the first try so just keep on trying. Beg is one of the harder tricks.

More advanced Tricks:
Stand
After your dog has learned beg, pull your pups paw up until he goes higher.

Howl
Your dog will howl if there is an Ambulance or police car sound. Zoom in on your dog and there most likely will be a light bulb.

Sing
You need the keyboard. To get a keyboard you need to go to the discount shop. To make your dog sing, zoom in on it while you have the keyboard. Click up to about 13 notes and make sure your dog follows each note, and then a light bulb will appear.

Break Dance
Your dog needs to know roll over and spin. Say roll over, don't pet your dog, and then say spin. They don't always do the trick

. Brush Mode
The brush tip is, if you put your nintendogs game on brush mode and have the brush on your nintendog, every minute that it is on brush mode, you will get 1 trainer point.

In 24 hours, you will get 1,440 Trainer points.

In 1 week, you will get 10,080

In 31 days you will get 44,640

2. Balloon Tip
If you blow into the microphone and you are holding the balloon, you can blow the balloon up. With a bubble Blower same thing except you blow bubbles.

3. More walks, more items
When you are going on a walk, go to as many ? marks as you can and then go to the park. Once you are at the park, put an accessory on your dog and then it will say that it is saving. Turn off your DS and then turn it back on. If you check, you will see that you have all the items you found, and still be able to go on another walk. You do not get Trainer points using this and your dogs stamina doesn't get higher.

4.Farther the Better
On a walk, if you go farther out to the corners or something, you get rarer items.

5. The luck of the Irish
If you have the Clover clock on and the lucky collar on your dog, and you go on a walk, you have higher chances of getting rarer stuff.

6. Healthy dog
If your dog is in full health(Hunger: Thirst: Quenched and Fur:beautiful) you might get rarer stuff.

7. Red Fireman's Hat
If you wear something red, like red leather collar or red santa's hat, you might be luckier when finding the red Fireman's Hat

8. Light bulb or Bone Snack
When you're teaching your dog and a light bulb or bone comes up, feed it to your dog. It is a free treat.

9.Clothing affects
If you find a New Years Tiara and put it on, you will get etc. items.(mostly) If you find a Lucky Collar and put it on, you get stuff that are accessories.(mostly) If you find a Lions Mane and put it on, you get sports stuff.(mostly) A Pirate hat might get you expensive stuff.

10.Better Stuff
If your dog keeps on finding the same thing over and over, that means that it either wants to play with it or put it on. For example, my dog keeps on finding the Japanese Print Collar. When I get home I out it on and the next walk we go on, she finds better stuff like viking hat, lily, shuttle model.

11.Special Disks
If you have one of the special disks of any version(Dachshund:dartboard,Shower Cap. Chihuahua roken Clock, Pizza Disk. Labrador: UFO,Life Ring) Your dog might do a flip when they catch it.

12. Mario Items
To find Mario Items, you need to find them on a walk. There is Mario cart, Bowser Cart, Peach Cart, Mario hat, and Luigi hat. I think that is all of them.

13.Pull rope
When you play with the pull rope, if your dog grabs on to it, pull it up and it will be hanging. If you spin it in circles, it might fly off.

14. FireMan's Hat
Sometimes, there is a siren. Go on a walk right away. You might find the Fireman's Hat.

15. Controls
To control a copter or a cart, use the control pad.

16. Jack Russell Book
Put on the Lucky Collar, make health perfect(Beautiful, Full, Quenched), and have stamina really high. You Might find the JRT book.

17.Runing away.
Your dogs will run away if you don't feed them or give them water or take them for a walk.

18.Runing away, possibly coming back with a present.
If you leave the DS on for a while, your dogs might get bored and run away. Click the whistle Icon and they will come back. Possibly with a present.

19. Friends and Enemies
On a walk, if you befriend a dog, you get more points. If you and the dog become enemies, you lose the same amount of points that you would have gained.

20. Items
Getting rare items is all random. Some tips might help. Also going for long walks might help. Playing with your dog before the walk might help too.

21. Contests
Before going on a contest, save your game and then go on a contest. If you get a bad score you can turn your DS off before they tell you what your score is.
