I know who I am. I know what I want to be. I know what I need to do.

New academic year full of memorable things I'm sure. I plan to write, to laugh, to devour life as much as I can. I do things to secure a future that I know I'm just falling into - I need more conviction, more gusto. I need to do more things. But I don't just need to, I want to. I want to take part in living. For so long I've just let things happen, been too passive. More action less thinking.. I've accustomed myself to just surviving and adapting to new situations, now it's time to make it, live it. Grip it and rip it.

      "To be the life and soul of a party or social gathering requires you to come out of your shell and let go. Here are some handy hints to guide you.

      A few suggestions
      Dress well and be properly spruced up. Have a bath before the party and wear clean and fresh clothes. Men can get a hair cut while girls need to go for understated make up. Wash your hair get it set if need be and get a pedicure and a manicure. Dab your favorite perfume and feel confident of looking your best.
      If you feel beautiful, you will look beautiful. Wear an outfit that looks good on you, it will give you an extra boost of confidence.
      Do not be self conscious. Feel comfortable and let yourself go. Try not to think of what other people might be thinking and act natural. Before you know it you will be in the swing of things and having fun time. You will be amazed at the picture you present and the admiring looks that you get.
      Talk to as many people as you can and move around. Look people in the eye when talking show interest in their conversation. Say witty things and let your laugh be free when you feel like laughing.

      To be honest I still feel like there's not enough hours in the day! ha Learning to drive, watching the Wire, 'working out', reading, beboing, listening to music, watching tv and of course sleeping for 11-12 hours. It all adds up!

      Our museum trip was near the end of June I believe. That's not far off two months ago! Crazy!

      Yeah I'm looking forward to going back! When are you moving into your house? Have you learned to cook at all yet?

      Ha I thought that was a short amount of time! Well it obviously gets easier the more you practice. After a short amount of time something you thought was difficult becomes automatic. The main thing is not to crash so thumbs up so far!

      I am feeling a bit in need of a nap all right! ha I've been doing pretty much nothing. Learning to drive actually now that I think of it. It took me nearly 2 years after getting the theory test to actually start to learn, very assertive. Only 9 and a half weeks until college! :L
