Derby Gaol Nov 17th 2007!
Well what an experience we had this time!!
We got to Derby quite early! (well about 9 hours before the start!) so met up with a few mates in Derby then headed for the Gaol for a look around and a feel of the place!
When we arrived one of our mates was doing a tabble tipping experiment and it was so good we had to join in.
One of the lads Phil had a pound coin on the table and was using it as a trigger object.
We asked the Spirit to keep the pound on the table but tip it towards him and it ended up on one leg but still the pound coin STAYED in the centre of the table.
We then took the pound off the table and planted it in one of the pockets and he went walking down the corridor and the table followed it with us trying to keep up.
We reached whats known as the museum room and he showed us his trick!
There is a ledge in there and the spirit lifted the table and placed it on the ledge.
meanwhile 2 people were in the cell and we said for the spirit Blythe to make sure they were kept in (He was the Jailer!) and he moved the table over to the door, Shut the door and then rocked back and forth so the people couldn't get out.
We'd seen enough! IT was time for a break! We headed over to the pub for a few spirits of the other kind!!1
9pm arrived and the night began with supper then we had a talk about the history of the gaol and the paranormal in general.
We started the nights things with a giant seance in the corridor of the Gaol.
We had just opened up and did protection with our Psychic Protection guy when there was 3 huge bangs. We thought initially someone was playing tricks on us, knocking on the door of the gaol and then leaving but there was nobody there at the time AND When we all came back to re-continue we knocked on the cell doors and inside the Debtors cell on the wooden bench came the sounds we'd all heard.
That set us up for a fab night including Vigils in the museum room where the temperature dropped from 15 degrees to minus 5 degrees, Vigils in the Cells which included names being discovered and also more prisoners coming through.
Oh and Lee got affected in the museum room and couldn't move and was holding his head and his stomach.
It was then time for the ouija board. Our group got hardly anything but Jo's did. Rapist I think it was, Nice chap!!!
Then it was time for the final vigil of the night. A MASS SEANCE in the condemmned mans cell.
This was something to remember. We were all stood in the pitch black and Blythe Simpson made himself known to us all.
Jo got channeled by a woman and was also in communication with Blythe.
Blythe was goading Paul, the protection guy, and saying how he didn't like Paul laughing at him and if he were alive we wouldn't be doing certain things.
Next thing one of the team, Dave, Starts breathing really heavily and then he gets taken over by Blythe and tries to break the circle up.
Paul told us all to leave the cell as he tried to get Dave back (You could tell it wasn't Him when he shone the torch on him).
Once that was all over Paul stoked the fire up, put the croissants in and it was all over bar the eating!!!!
Really good night and am doing it again in March!
But We raised over £450 for Children In Need in the process

Lol, when in doubt head to the pub! We were in the vaults a few months ago - it's a great tour.
I'm doing ok. Just working away. Hope you're good!
Hey Mary, not sure if you'll remember me but I'm Azlak from the MH forum. Noticed you were in Edinburgh from your pics. Did you make the tours into the vaults and Greyfriars?
I don't usually finish till gone 6 myself. Suppose harder if no transport, but usually people car share etc.
To be honest, I find Derby Gaol overpriced, especially for the size of it. As Lee will tell you, we get at leat one investigation per month in anways (surprised Lee hasn't brought you along!!) and getting so close to Xmas I have to slow down a little due to work.
Sorry i missed it but HAPPY BIRTHDAY
And i hope you had a great day
Love bex xxxx
Ah yeah, I might do, what's it for, who's going? Hope you are doing ok Mary
