- Joe Lean & the Jing Jang Jong formed in 2006 when Joe, then juggling drumming duties with The Pipettes, decided he needed an outlet for the effervescent pop symphonies that he had been writing. Luckily he didn't have to look far - "I realised I knew the three best guitarists in the country and managed to get one of them to play bass".
Joe Lean and The Jing Jang Jong played their first show early in 2007, a year later and they've supported Babyshambles, Dizzee Rascal and the Kaiser Chiefs, as well as selling out their own headline UK tour. On the road they've been keeping us up to date with their favourite music, thoughts and musings, all of which can be heard on Jing Jang Radio at http://www.vertigorecords.co.uk/jing....

Sound Sanctuary Cancelled
Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong will no longer be appearing at Sound Sanctuary 2008 as the festival has been cancelled.
Sadly there's nothing we can do but offer our apologies to fans who were hoping to see them at the event, as this matter is obviously out of our control.
Ticket holders seeking refunds are advised to contact the festival organisers.
For those of you who are heading off to Reading and/or Leeds this coming weekend, see you there! Joe Lean & JJJ will be playing Reading on Saturday 23 August and Leeds on Sunday 24 August.0 komentarzy 462 dni
