Meet Up with YN at the DROP Summit & Event!
On November 15 we will be launching Drop, a campaign dedicated to inspiring, empowering, and mobilizing young people to create and execute solutions to solve global water crises. The DROP campaign, will be kicked off with a DROP summit that is hosted and co-sponsored by the Communications, Design and Technology Department at Parsons, The New School for Design, in NYC on November 15, 2008.
For the Summit, YouthNoise is handpicking 75 socially minded and engaged youth leaders and aspiring social entrepreneurs to convene for a day of creative collaboration and innovative problem solving all around the issues of water access and conservation. Participants will receive a crash course in water issues and will proceed to form teams and develop projects to address the problems at hand. Workshops and exciting events will be led by a team of DROP Coalition partners from Food and Water Watch to UNICEF.
The Summit will also commence the 3-12 month long DROP internship. YouthNoise and it’s partners will be highly involved with the resulting projects and will continue to offer support and opportunities to participants as their projects grow into movements. One of these supportive efforts will begin with a fundraiser on the evening of November 15th, 2008.
We will be hosting this exciting fundraiser at the NYC Fire Museum on the evening of the Nov. 15th. The evening promises to be exciting performances from up and coming young artists Naia Kete and Martin Purtill, spoken word artist Kelly Zen-Yie Tsai, informative installations from Parson’s New School of Design CDT Program, creative merchandise, drinks and much more. Doors will open at 8:30pm with a suggested donation of $15. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to these campaigns. And don’t fret- it will be a bottled water free event! If you are tired of nothing positive being done, if you feel nothing you can do, as an individual will help. Please join me in my mission to give back the power to the people.
We are changing the rules; you will not need to follow the same rules that our regular voting process mandates however, you must be 18 years of age to participate. We can change the same old ways of politics thru the power of numbers. The more people that join this important cause, the greater influence we will have on the future of this great country.
Please read this blog and together we can make the right changes.
I have seen the injustice of our times truly get out of hand। It seems we the people vote our politicians into office and then we have no more voice। I am of the opinion that once 95% of them enter office they do anything and everything to help only themselves in keeping their office. Our lives are so burdened by day to day matters. As individuals we see things that we know are wrong, things that we wish we could correct but we just don’t have the time or resources to get involved. I want you to imagine a new way of getting something done, a new way to make our representatives do as we the people wish. It is clear to me that once they win there office they truly forget who they work for. Try getting one of them to talk to you and you will soon learn how hard that will become. Imagine a click of a button that will give us back the power our constitutional framers wanted us to have.
The way it currently works, we vote for politician based on the limited questions our media asks them and the few views you will find out about, we then pin our hopes on the politician and he or she will make all decisions for the rest of us. What about our voices being heard after the fact?
We now have the technology and now we only need to come together and get organized. I ask you to email me with your information and laws you would like to see changed. I will gather a list of people and ask for votes on deferent topics. I need your help by spreading the word via any means possible. I need to contact all the people you know as well and yes it will take time; however imagine someday soon being able to confront our politicians with a list of a million voices on any particular law or issue we want changed. Then and only then can we have real-time changes to our policies and get our politicians back to working for the people the way it was always meant to be. Help me help all of us. The time is now!
I will make it my mission starting now to have our voices heard. I have had enough of the old system of doing things. Our country was created for the people’s voices to be heard and followed. I have a plan to have our voices heard on all matters of importance and our wishes respected. Because our population has exploded our original set up is inadequate. We now have the technology to have our voices heard more then once on voting day. We must have control of our future by making the decisions for ourselves. Someone must make the sacrifice needed to give the power back to the people. I am reaching out and asking for help as I am only one and need many others to help with the implementation of my plans.

Tru that. I'm personaly a diagnostic picaso mural with a price tag of two pennies and a quarter. But there is something to say a bout the brain activity and the unique developements in every case of extreme behavior. It realy comes down to how long, or how much time your willing to spend with each individual that you can even begin to try to understand their base instincs and what influences they came from, if not sheer human/animal insticnt.

It shocks me wen people tell the smallest of lies for no reason,example being........umm.....'im round the corner' wen they aint....but these lyers go alot further.Lying about being pregnant,lying about people bitching....lying about who u really are or what u really got!men and girls lying bout cheating,y not admit it!cause it always comes out and wen it does its alot worse then wen u would of done it before!!!
