An interesting discovery
I made an interesting discovery today whilst trying to work out how to get superman into my essay.

So What is Love?
It has come to my attention that love is what Jesus gives to us. In his becoming man, he showed love to each and every one of us, demonstrating how we should love one another, and the power of true love, ultimately on the cross, and more importantly in defeating sin and death by his resurrection
My lessons learned this weekend:
#1: as learned from Jesus this weekend is that true love is giving women the opportunity to spend a whole weekend eating chocolate.
Action from lesson: Give the female of the species the opportunity to eat more chocolate, providing it if necessary.
#2: true love is giving everything without exception "Greater love has no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13)
Action from lesson: Hold back nothing from my friends... if they need and I have...
#3: "in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." (Romans 8:37) I'm nothing without the resurrection. As a result of the resurrection I am more than a conqueror.
Action from lesson: Live like a conqueror.

Hmm, Jay said there were two versions of the question too, one more and one less detailed but I remember we had that little meeting after the lecture one day and he said not to do the youthwork focused one, We are to do the same one as the theology students. The original version of that question is on the same course descriptor as the youthwork question, just above it. It was the more detailed version of the theology one that I was looking for. Sorry....
