I work as a Marketing Officer for a manufacturing company. I'm also a wedding photographer, and hope to do this on a full time basis within the next few years. My other photography work includes live bands, promotional work and studio work.

"A creature of the feline family. A predator, can often be seen in the area of Ballyclare, although has been known to stray to other parts of the country. Fond of stalking her pray, the Kym enjoys the pleasure of a slow pursuit. With a red and black coat she is not wonderfully camouflaged in her native lands, but with superior hunting skills she manages to frighten off those who would hunt her. While the Kym is impossible to tame, it is possible to keep company with her, although she can be picky. She can be dangerous if pushed. She responds well to music. A wonderful creature, full of fun and company. A pleasure to be around."

Other favourite movies are: Back to the Future trilogy, Waynes World 1 & 2, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Pirates of the Carribbean 1, Almost Famous, Bram Stokers Dracula, all Carry On films, From Dusk Till Dawn, all Harry Potters, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Easy Rider, Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956 version) and other dodgy 50s sci-fi/horror movies. Also love any movie featuring Jack Nicholson or Johnny Depp (two greatest actors ever). And apparently I'm quite fond of zombie movies now (cheers Phil)...

Favourite TV Shows are: The Comic Strip Presents, Bottom, The Young Ones, Red Dwarf, The IT Crowd, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Allo Allo, I'm Alan Partridge and the Mighty Boosh!
Books
Love all Harry Potter novels, Red Dwarf novels, and because I am quite sad, I still enjoy Media textbooks eg: "The Monstrous-Feminine: Film, Feminism and Psychoanalysis" by Barbara Creed.
Sports
Moto GP, Darts and Football (support Man Utd)

    • Kym's 25th Birthday

      For my 25th birthday, Phil kindly took me to Glasgow to attend the Rock Radio Scotland 2nd Birthday Bash... featuring amongst others: Waysted, Saxon and the motherf*cking Quireboys!!!!

      Spent the day of the gig walking around Glasgow, and took in the Museum of Transport, which was cool! Got some munchies, a carry out, and then headed to the gig...

      All 5 of the bands playing at the gig were great, especially Saxon, where I spent the whole time at the barrier headbanging and singing/shouting along to the songs! Phil and I both ended up getting completely and utterly drunk tho...oops... Once the gig was over, it was downstairs to the aftershow party. Got to meet all the bands. Found Biff Byford, grabbed him by the hand, and led him across the whole room trying to find Phil (who wanted his Saxon sleeve signed!) Eventually found Phil, who went into fan-boy mode upon meeting Biff and his other Saxon buddies *teehee*.

      Meanwhile, I was hanging out with Paul Guerin (Quireboys guitarist). Talked for a while, I bought Paul a drink, had a laugh.. good fun! Got a bad case of hiccups later in the nite, and had them cured by Paul, who applied 2 fingers (with great pressure) to the side of my neck! A bit random but hey it worked.

      Arrived back at the hotel at 3 something... As you can imagine the next day neither of us were in a great state. Walked zombie-like around Glasgow, tried to take in another Museum but not much sank in. Went back to the airport and rested our weary legs until the flight home.

      A fun wee trip... thanks to Philykins for my special birthday treat!

      ok so I still totally love The Motherfucking Quireboys... but I am now totally and utterly obsessed with THE MIGHTY BOOSH... Like seriously I haven't had an obsession like this in quite a while... it makes me feel all warm and furry inside... teehee...
