Best Gift Ever

I spent last week in London and in between my meetings I walked Oxford Street in search of the perfect birthday present for Amanda. After hours of window shopping, I settled on a coat that I knew she would love. I gave it to her yesterday morning and she seemed “very pleased.” Not exactly the reaction I was hoping for, but next year I will stick with jewelry. However, last night, a video was posted by Jennie Powell, Milowent, MicFranXon, mku77, Elixir, ApotheosisAZ, and SonofastitchPJ that put my birthday present to absolute shame. When Amanda watched the video, she screamed with delight proclaiming “this is the best birthday present ever!” Yeah, that was the reaction I was looking for.

Thank you all so much for taking the time, effort, and creativity to celebrate Amanda’s birthday. The video is remarkable and demonstrates what an amazing community we have all formed. Everyone, watch the video(above) thank those who made it, and … my birthday’s on Friday.
