Zanzibar is amazing...everything you think it is and better! I loved it..not only for the beaches and views, but I met some cool people there too...its been a little quiet lately along the afican route..so it was cool to chat and hang with them!

Hey thanks. I was really happy with the video and the whole experience. Was pretty nervous the orphanage would be an unhappy and painful sight but so many of the kids were happy and just full of joy. It was a touching video and Chris did a fantastic job. I think him and I will work great together.

I have now arrived in Cambodia and am looking forward to exploring the country! Now that tonsilitis and food poisoning is outta the way i;m on a good roll!

My favorite so far has been Vietnam... despite it being the country where all the bad stuff happened (sick twice as I just mentioned above and a stolen passport) I also had the best time there and felt the most rewarded for visiting it. I also went into the country apprehensive because of the past war America was involved (and me having a North American accent) but all that is old history now... Everyone in vietnam is FANTASTIC

yah I had to really keep myself in check to stay composed. I was also agonizingly sick the whole time (surprissed I didn't look worse on camera) but I was so foccused on the task and the gravity of the situation that I guess I just surpressed it untill I had a chance to relax... cause I definately had a few rough days after Tom was done filming.

Might be another week before i'm100%... but I'm looking forward to it, being able to get back to my normal travelling self.

Ok if you only have a week in the south I recommend two options.

1. Do Koh Phi Phi and Krabi (specifically Railey beach... that spelling might be off).
Phi Phi is my favorite island and Railey is a very beautiful and chill place, they are close to each other and on the South West side of Thailand.

the other option

2. Do Koh Tao, Koh Samui, and Koh Pha Nang. All great islands and all different from each other. They are within 30-60 minutes of each other and you can actually see Samui and Koh Pha Nang on each othere's horizone, they are that close.

They are alot close to Bangkok than Phi Phi and Krabi though. They are the East Central side of Thailand.
