Ja, o mnie i jeszcze raz ja: Resisting narrow stylistic or genre conventions since he first appeared as Low Res in 1994, Daniel Zelonky has emerged as a keeper of the flame of ambitious and adventurous, yet rambunctiously entertaining American music. He has woven any number of improbably wondrous hybrid styles with a mischeivous humor and unabashed over-the-top approach to musical arrangement and expression. Henceforth, Zelonky’s work (and band) will go under the name Suite Crude Revue to reflect the increasing propensity to this sort of showmanship. The previous Low Res albums, "Approximate Love Boat", and "Blue Ramen", have been internationally acclaimed and are currently available again on iTunes and other services, as are Zelonky's two albums as "Crank". "Look Back With Knife", a collection of unreleased, rare & live Low Res tracks, and an all-new "Suite Crude Revue" album.

The Album: 11 all-new exotic hothouse hybrids demonstrate yet again the musically ambitious, yet viscerally entertaining compositions of Daniel Zelonky, aka Low Res, Crank, etc.

Strains of authentic Ethiopian jazz and funk, boogie-woogie, latin jazz, seventies “blaxploitation” film scores, Bollywood, and – again – the music of Sun Ra are mingled, juxtaposed, and jump-cut into a mystifying, yet extremely coherent aesthetic whole, sure to shake your brain’s ass!

Production methods range from Zelonky’s patented hyper-real one-man band technique (ie: the reverentially-detailed solo rendition of the unreleased Sun Ra composition Intergalactic Research ii), to a live 36-piece orchestra playing an adaptation of his 2002 electronic piece Chalky.
