      Yup thatshe CYP is - we help Blast get bigger and better in its desperate attempt to rule the UK! - Has anyone been on tour yet?

      Yeah, be glad to :)

      The CYP is the central youth panel, basically 50 people who help out Blast. The Blast team present all their latest and greatest ideas to us to see what we think and we give feedback. Also twice a year the teams meet in London / Manchester to discuss things like Blast on Tour, the website and what things blast should/could be doing.

      The CYP meeting i went to involved ripping up newspapers/magazines to create a mood-board (well, i think thats what you could call it, mine looked like a kindergarten drawing though), interviewing people on camera and some very random team building exercises. Blast also offer great opportunities such as work experience and also teach useful life skills such as learning to use the BBCs coffee machines (which is a challenge in itself).

      That basically sums it up. I only joined a few months ago, so if im wrong about any of this please tell me, ive only been to one CYP :P
