Hey OMG users,

In case you haven't noticed, we've updated OMG with some new features. Here's an overview of what they are:

1. Invite Friends:

You now have an easy way to invite your friends to add OMG, so you can meet up and chat with more users. Just click the envelope icon at the top of the Flash window, and you should see your Bebo friends list load. It will only display friends who have *not* yet added OMG.

The invite option is accessible from a few other links around the application, as well.


2. Find Friends:

Now you can quickly find out if your Bebo friends are on OMG, and join up with them wherever they are. Just click the Find Friends icon (next to the Invite icon), and you will see a list of any/all friends who are currently online.

You will also see an alert window pop up (toaster style, from the bottom of the screen) whenever a new friend hops onto OMG. This also happens on all your friends' OMG screens whenever you come online.

3. New application page:

You may also have noticed we've made a bigger Flash window for the full application page version of OMG. Your friends can still play your OMG from your profile page, but you now have a bigger screen to play in.

Also, the "Friends Who've Added OMG " feature is more prominent now. This shows you who of your Bebo friends have added OMG, so you can meet up with them when you want.

We hope all of these changes help make your OMG experience better. Start inviting your friends and make OMG even more fun.

A lot of people are asking about why their gift meters turn gray, and how and when they become active again.

Here are a couple notes on gift meters:
1. You have to sign up with Gaia before your gift meter will work at all.

You can sign up at Gaia and create your avatar from the "Get Your Own Avatar" button in the Flash window, or from any of the other Sign Up links you'll find around the application.


2. Your gift meter will go gray for 2 weeks after you earn a new item.

This is done mainly to keep people from botting OMG and shutting down our servers, but also to give you users something look forward to ;-)

Like your Gaia avatar? Does it look better than you? Now you can add it to your Bebo profile as your profile image!

1. Just go to Gaia's Avatar Exporter:

(You must be a Gaia member to use this feature, and create your custom avatar)

2. Make sure you're logged in to Gaia

3. Follow the instructions for the Sig Lab exporter. It will display a transparent GIF image which you can copy to your computer and then upload to your profile.

** It also provides embed code for adding your avatar to other blogs, etc.
