Facebook Developer Garage - Chicago, IL
Hey guys,
Where I've Been is proud to be hosting the Facebook Developer Garage, in Chicago, on Friday February 20th 2009 at the Where I've Been headquarters! If you are interested in the social networking world, or if you are a Facebook application developer, entrepreneur or a student interested in founding your own start-up, then please come along to this free event.
I will be speaking at the event, along with Luke Shepard, a member of the Facebook Developer Platform. Luke is a Chicago University alum who is one of the head engineers on Connect. During the Garage, he will be giving a technical session of how to build a Facebook Connect implementation.

A couple facts...
1) Bebo makes over $8 million a MONTH from advertising alone.
2) Myspace makes almost $25 million
WE, the users, don't get any of this, even though WE are the ones making the pages, writing the blogs and uploading the pictures!
There's a brand new social networking site which actually pays its members just to use it!
The site has all of the features of bebo, but here's the best bit, the more you use it, the more you get paid!
