- Where do we start on 29th of October 2007 20 people set off on a trip of a lifetime to trek the Himalaya Mountains in aid of CARI (Children at Risk Ireland)a lot of money was raised by all so well done gang a very worthy cause. Each and every one of us worked extremely hard and have all made a difference in children's lives all over Ireland. We had no idea what we were letting ourselves in for I think we all agree it was such an amazing experience one never to be forgotten.We were very lucky with the group of us that took part we are like a family now friends for life we endured so much together as a group and also as individuals. There were so many highs and lows but the highs won out in the end tears of sadness also happiness it has exceeded all our expectations and then some.At times very tough but worth every tear and pain or illness endured by so many as we all struggled along together as a group.We were blesed with some amazing people to lead us tru our journey

- Up-Mountain Trekking.... Yoga in the Mornings!.... Alcohol consumption.... Disco India!
- Scared Of
- Cliffs! Serena fainting on the mountain - Follow the Stick! ...Snakes! Mammy Marie ....Panic Attacks !Lorraine... Falling to our death! all of us...... Hangovers! Caroline & Ross
- Happiest When
- We all reached Triund - the ridge at our highest point of the trek, when the mist cleared, the mountains just rose up behind us, it was breath-taking! and of course drinking around the bonfire at campsite every niteand geting the workers drunk on d last nite lol singing half songs like crows
- Gala dinner & Award Ceremony
- Categorys and winners Good Samaratin ! Marie Tuohey ..Best Dressed Trish & Suzanne .. Worst Hangovers Ross & Caroline ...Best Entertainer Serena & Feilim Carole was presented with a beautiful pendant from all her fellow trekkers in appreciation of all her hard work and support throught out the year and the trek itself
