- This is a group for fans of the tv show Alias Smith and Jones starring Pete Duel and Ben Murphy. Hannibal Heyes and Kid Curry and the Devil's Hole Gang were apart of a tv show that ran in 1970's. Please Join! Even if you like cowboys, the cowboy life and culture (no matter the country whether they are American, Australian, Brazilian or Canadian), tv show "westerns" and "movie westerns", "spaghetti" westerns by Sergio Leone starring Clint Eastwood. A Movie Version of Alias Smith and Jones
I read recently that Owen Wilson is in talks to remake Alias Smith and Jones. He's looking to have Jeremy London in the role as Kid Curry!

Watch Episodes of ASAJ!
For some of you guys it has been ages and for you bootleggers out there it's been probably 24 hours! But at least now you can see full episodes of the coolest western ever without having to buy the dvd's! NO I'm not hosting them here. I'm not that savvy.
They are on the web at least the first season!

Whatever happened to the Western?
Okay so I wasn't around for the days of Gunsmoke and Bonanza but there are reruns! Then there are the movies of Francis Ford and Howard Hawkes. Don't forget the hey days of Clint Eastwood and all of the Billy the Kid movies, Wyatt Earp Films and Support Your Local Sheriff (sorry I had to mention it! They still make me laugh!)
Then there was Young Guns, Young Guns II, that tv show from the 80's about the Pony Express -- Young Riders or something like that... The Unforgiven, Silverado, The Quick and The Dead, Tombstone and more.

Hannibal Heyes and Kid Curry, the two most successful outlaws in the history of the West and in all the trains and banks they robbed, they never shot anyone. This made our two latter day Robin Hoods very popular - with everyone but the railroads and the banks.

"Out of this business"
"The Governor can't come flat out and give you amnesty now, first you've got to prove you deserve it"
"Ah, so all we have to do is just stay out of trouble til the Governor figures we deserve amnesty?"
"But in the meantime we'll still be wanted?"
"Well, that's true. Til then only you, me and the Governor will know about it. It'll be our secret."
"I sure wish the Governor would let a few more people in on our secret."
