No equipment is stored in MYC overnight, everything is removed before he is parked up

So whats MYC got.....
Inside internet access, Consultation "Big Brother" Diary Room, comfy seated area to hang out, Wii, X Box 360, Nitendo DS's, PSP and PS3, 8 laptops with internet access, outside sheltered seated area, outside games, film editing and music suite and full disabled access!
What can MYC be used for....
To provide a safe and secure place for young people to go, to inform young people of the services available to them and provide a bridge between them, a great fun way of consultation, keeping you people away from trouble and provides services for young people out in those rural areas!

    Thats pretty cool :D no i haven't thats why i was tryin to see when you's are about! I'm in the young scot discounters for east-ayrshire too, we do summer projects and work with nhs, dialog youth along with others! Its pretty radical ;) <3 wb xxx

  • MYC is back in the hood - kinda

    You might have noticed out 7.5 tonnes Mobile Youth Centre back home in Kilwinning Fire Station! He's been kitted out with some new stuff so he can have an awesome 2009.

    John and Grum have been busy as ever testing all the games in MYC to make sure they're all working okay - heh it's a hard job but someone's got to do it? eh? Honestly, they weren't skiving ;)

    He's still having some difficulties, and is off the road again, but he will be back on extremely soon! He is leaking diesel atm, bad times.

    Young Scot Overload on the other hand will be taking place in the Cornerstone Church in Kilwinning on February 21st, Check out my other half for more information on the event and how to get involved!!

  • Update 27/12/2008 last update of 2008

    Well this is the last update of 2008 for MYC.

    The beggining and end of this year haven't been too great for MYC as we've had to send it back down south quite a few times due to a few technical hithes and other issues but during the few months MYC was home we attended loads of summer events including Marymass, Bourtreehill open, Saltcoats Rock and Park Live.

    All we're a great sucess and we provided tour services to hundereds of North Ayrshire young people at each event.

    We also did a very sucessful consultation to find out if North Ayrshire's young people wanted an alohol free nighclub and the results proved very positive and we'll continue to work on the project into next year.

    So it's so long from us and hope you've had a very Merry Chirtmas and have a very Happy New Year!

    Woo!

    Finally MYC's back home after a long journey down south and should hopefully be back on the road visitig all you guys out there sometime in the new yr!
