Ross County reveal finance fears
Roy McGregor said promotion was vital for the future of the club
Ross County will have to go part-time if they fail to gain promotion from Division Two this season, according to chairman Roy McGregor.
County lead the division by one point ahead of Raith, but McGregor told BBC Sport: "We cannot run full-time football in the Second Division.
"We've got an academy and it would also be difficult for us to support it if we didn't have full-time football."
McGregor said it had taken the club time to adjust to life in Division Two.
On the Dingwall club's relegation, McGregor said: "You have to take stock and adjust mentally to the lower division as quickly as possible.

"We're in a bit of a catch 22 situation because it is very precious for us that with the academy we are able to take youngsters through and give them an offer of full-time football."
