- Who are we?
We Are 7 youths From the North of Glasgow who have been employed by Glasgow North Regeneration Agency as Trainee Researchers .We have been researching the North Glasgow area to see what facilities there are for young people .We will also be putting this information on a map so that you can look up your area and see what youth provision there is in the area and what is going on.
We will be inviting young people to share their ideas on youth provision and how to make our communities a better environment to live in.
- Our key objectives!
- * Locate the range and type of youth work available in North Glasgow.
*Identify examples of good youth work practice.
*Locate youth provisions close to the area you live.
*Recommendations for formation of youth forum/hub.
The main product of the research will be a final report that meets the objectives and answers the research questions outlined above. - Youth Forum
- A youth forum encourages and supports young people by allowing them to contribute to ideas and opinions in the decisions affecting their local community. Youth forums also provide advice and support for young people over a wide range of issues.
- Youth Hub
- A youth hub is a place for young people to go and hangout with friends, join in with activities such as sports, drama, art etc. A youth hub is also known as a Youth center or a community center. A youth hub also organizes trips for young people and their families. They work together as a community to provide exciting entertainment for youths.
