- Me, Myself, and I
- Live & work in Montrose. Married to Lisa. Have 1 daughter Gianna. Play bass for local Montrose band F'n'3Gs, who play mainly rock covers ranging from Lizzy, Green Day & Purple through to the Chillis, the Who & REM. To listen to some of our stuff, visit www.bebo.com/Fn3GsMontrose .
- Music
- Influences - great rock bassists - Entwistle, Butler, Harris, McKaggan, Burton, Lemmy etc. Like any loud guitar music especially Motorhead, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Iron Maiden, Metallica, The Who, Velvet Revolver, Sex Pistols, Black Sabbath, G'n'R, early Stranglers, early Clash, HIM, AC/DC...........you get the picture.
- Films
- The Life of Brian, Gladiator, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, old classics, i.e The Vikings, Taras Bulba, Ice Cold in Alex etc. Batman - The Dark Knight - best film I've seen in the past few years.
- Sports
- Armchair sportsman - especially Football, Rugby, Darts, Motorbikes, etc.
- All Time Favourite Blasts
- Songs that shiver the spine, the sort that when you first hear them you go 'What the f**k was that?' - so here goes - Jean Genie - David Bowie. Homicide - 999. Holidays in the Sun - Sex Pistols . Overkill - Motorhead. Gimme Shelter - Rolling Stones. Won't Get Fooled Again - The Who. Feel Good Hit For the Summer - Queens of the Stone Age. Everlong - Foo Fighters. Saturday Superhouse - Biffy Clyro . Nobody's Fault But Mine - Led Zeppelin . Slither - Velvet Revolver. Love Spreads - Stone Roses. Shake Your Blood - Probot . Master of Puppets - Metallica . The Wicker Man ( Rock in Rio) - Iron Maiden . Falling Off the Edge of the World - Sabbath + Dio. Eruption - Van Halen. Shy Boy - Dave Lee Roth. Destination Venus - The Rezillos. Alive- Pearl Jam. New Rose - The Damned. Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Chile. Fell in Love with a Girl - White Stripes. Anger Rising - Jerry Cantrell
- Happiest When
- Playing gigs. Listening to my ipod (greatest thing invented in recent years). Spending time with wife & daughter. Having a quiet beer. Going to see a good live band. Sitting by a poolside in Spain with beer, iPod & Book, usually being beaten 2 death at Scrabble on the Nintendo DS by Lisa.
- Biggest Gripe
- Why are there so many bass players in bands nowadays that simply follow the guitar and have nothing interesting to play?
- Next F'n'3G's Gigs

We are trying to target an audience from the age 18/60 so we try t mix older classic rock numbers with more up to date ones. But i must admit its the older ones that i enjoy playing more as it reminds me of when i learned to play and used to hear the likes of Free and say to my uncle.........."Whats that shite yer makin me play now"
