- Me, Myself, and I
- Sometimes I love the feeling of writing 'what I know' like the experience of being near a wild highland oxen, or a real jousting tournament where 'knights' on Frisians battle and test their skill.
My Father is of Scot descent. My Grandfather came from Ireland. My husband is Welsh. I love to draw from the people I know to fill in my characters. I have spend many long afternoons driving through the hills along Huron discussing how a Laird would act if his bride did not understand her 'place' as the mistress of a manor, or what a highlander would do if confronted with a wilful woman who offered her heart - no strings attached.

How Do You Have Fun?
I have a friend, Ray, who has a gambling review website www.win247.co.uk which posts reviews of different gambling sites. He pays for articles in gambling so that people can learn how to play better and have more fun.
He pays a gambler to write articles at his cost. I thought that was a great thing to do. You don't actually pay money at www.win247.co.uk - there are just a list of links to other sites and reviews. He is also building a blog.0 Comments 433 days

Business of Writing
There is a new resource at www.wealthy-writer.com for people who write for money and want to write books, articles, etc for clients.
Have you ever wanted a cool avatar that is just yours? I've never thought about this until recently, but I found this article and am seriously thinking about it: http://www.virtualadagency.com/logo-...0 Comments 460 days

Wealthy Writer
I've found a couple new websites that are great for small business owners. I work from home as a freelance SEO SEM. I built a great website at www.wealthy-writer.com that helps writers learn how to build a profile on the web.
The articles at www.wealthy-writer.com are different than www.inspiredauthor. I also have some posts from a friend who owns www.virtualadagency.com. Marc offers a lot of great advice on how to market yourself and sell books.
I often wonder why more people do not work at home. I once had a large business. The only difference I ever saw between a small business, or a freelance author, and a successful (PAID) freelance writer is the advertising and skills needed to 'get paid to write.'0 Comments 517 days

I was so pleased that coffee time gave me 3 cups for a 'sweet' romance. That is wonderful. You can read my review at my bebo lens for the book - or

I have started to upload 'extra' segments from my book into the bebo 'official' site for The Pledge. I am adding more parts of the story, actual chapter segements that were not published in the novel.
