- Nico Mirallegro is a 17 year old British actor, playing the role of Barry Newton, nicknamed 'Newt' on British TV drama Hollyoaks, an "emo" foster child, although he states he is nothing like his character. Prior to his role in Hollyoaks he was studying at the Manchester School Of Acting.
He plays newt, a 15 year old, foster child who has been in care since he was 3. This was due to his mothers heroin addiction and the disaperence of his dad. He is not too keen on his new family.... for more info check out hollyoaks
