  • Infinite Ink has closed.

    Sadly it is true, we have had to close the doors, after 7 years of trading.
    As some of you may know Jules hasn't been well for a while and has taken Dr's advice and put her feet up!.

    Marcus was not keen to stay on in the shop as it would have taken way to much to train someone else to run the front.

    We are sorry for the inconvenience it has caused .

    At this stage Marcus will not be tattooing in the near future. But you never know!!

    Thanks to all of our loyal customers who have supported us through the many years in Whakatane. We wish you all the best. Your custom has ebenn geatly appreciated.

  • ART HEIST !!

    Tuesday morning, back to work , what should greet us ? A ransom note!!

    It would appear that art thieves had struck. They took my favourite painting, the one that I had above the couch and always admired in the evenings with the studio lights on. In it’s place was a ransom note, the evil art thieves had no respect.... No they didn’t want to keep the precious piece, hang it on their walls, sell it for a profit on the black market.. The terrorists wanted $100,000.000.000 or to have their “V” tab wiped, the other scoundrel addict wanted a box of “Coke zero”.

    That was their fist mistake in the chain of mounting evidence... A “V” addict and a “Coke zero “ addict. In their haste they left behind a string of clues, there was the near empty “V” fridge, the “Coke zero” bottle left on the counter, they used my own fibre tipped pen and left the lid off of it ( a crime punishable by 50 wet tea towel flicks. The scrunched up piles of failed ransom note attempts strewn around my waste paper bin... The list goes on.

    A search for more evidence to convict these hapless thieves continued. There was something in their code names.... Something familiar.. I knew I could break the case. I just needed a little more time and evidence.

    We got agent gretal, the code cracking dog onto it, she tapped her toe nails on the page for a while, scratched her hind quarters ( might have been a flea) then she got, their names had been spelt backwards. We had the scoundrels, now we know who they are, we just need to hatch a plan to nab them before they leave the country or move onto bigger arty crimes .

    Please find attached exhibit “A” the ransom note and chain of evidence, and a wanted poster. Interpol have been notified, these two will not get away with it. They will be bought to justice.

    Please report any sightings of this dastardly pair to Jules at Infinite Ink. Via email, or phone.. A reward of a cool can of “V” awaits the ninja who nabs these dastardly vixens.

  • Book release day!!

    It's official, courier arrived this morning with my personal copy of " Snapper, New Zealands greatest fish" by Sam Mossman. What is so cool about that you ask?... 6 FULL PAGED GLOSSY PHOTOGRAPHS taken by me head some of the many chapters in the book.

    I can't explain how exicting it was to see my own photographs in glossy print in a published book! I will look into where it will be stocked incase anyone is looking for a copy.

    Saw Kirsty the other day, my son went and visited her and dragged her over to meet her newest nephew and she was telling me how she stayed with Shannon and had a good time. Bronson found me on here as well, he vaguely remembers me, but then I'm ancient compared to him :L

    I always wondered where Kim got to, I have no contact with anyone else but I always thought Kim was great, I remember him even buying me a beer once knowing full well I was underage :L


    Got to say, some great tattoos in the pics, and I always remembered your photos as well, one day I'll find my artistic side, maybe :L

    I actually always wondered where you guys got to as well, only time I met Shannon was when he was still a baby really, and was just the once, all I remember was the curly red hair, well red anyways :L
