Okay guys I mean to post this sooner but I didn't so...oh well onwards!!

Back in June I went to see the man himself!! Yes Yes I spent a good hlaf an hour talking to Darren Shan!! He's a dote guys...he's so sound and nice!!! He's really great with kids (Which I suppose he ought to be considering he's mostly a children's author)!! He got some oof the audience up on stage (unfortunately I was not one of them) to act out some of the Cirque Du Freak book (The piece where the lady gets her hand bit off...) and the kid who played the wolf man was brilliant at howling!! Next he read a bit from Lord Loss... (The piece where Grubbs finds his family dead and meets Lord Loss for the first time!!) he's a excellent narrator guys...his voices are brill!! And finally he read a bit from an unpublished and untitled book...that is still on the works!! It's about how Larten Crepsley met Seba Niles for the first time and guys it's amazig!! Seriously fantastic!! So once he finished reading (the mean lay from the hotel made him stop reading...he was more then willing to stay reading!!) Some of the audience got to ask questions (again I wasn't picked but I got to the end of the line so hah!! ) and he answered as many as the mean hotel lady (Called MHL from now on!!) would let him!! Then he sat at his table, picked up his pen and started signing our books!! I waited until everyone made the line and then I joined it!! Sure I had to wait 3 hours but it was so worth it cause I got more tinme to talk to him!! He spent as much time as the child wanted to talk to him for, talking with the child and then moved on!! He signed as many books as you had, took as many photos as you wanted and answered as many questions as you had!! He was so nice!! So finally the line moved and I was there...talking to the man that I had spent 8 years as a dedicated fan of his books!! And for further info his favourite quote out of the books is : Even in death may you be triumphant!! hehe His girlfriend was really nice too and we talked about how I knew his cousin and all the malarcky!! He was really nice and signed all like 20 of books or something!! he was honestly totally down to earth and lovely!! He had all the time in the world for everyone that was there!! If he ever comes to a place near you...go to see him!! Just talking to him is worth it as he one of the nicest men you will ever meet!!
