FINAL FIRST DRAFT
Thats it! It's done!
17 months and I have finally finished the first full draft including the dialogue.
Actually... at the risk of sounding like I'm being big-headed I am actually very proud of my work.
Over the years, I've heard many people say "Why do battered women stay with their partners? They must be mad!"
Well I'd have to say that unless you are actually in that situation yourself, you cannot pass judgement.
Many of these women are abused physically and mentally. Their partners take away all of their self esteem and self worth and they really and trully believe that they have no choice, especially where there are children involved.
Please spare a thought for the many thousands of women in this world who are in controlling abusive relationships. They do not deserve your scorn, for let me assure you that they are much braver than you or I will ever be!.
It is much easier to get out of the relationship than it is to stay!.
I firmly believe in zero tolerance. No means No. Even from a wife to her husband.
I hope you enjoy the story.

thrilled to hear you like my writing style! i find few people that actually enjoy it, some people think i am a bit over descriptive....
admittingly i think its a bit powerful, my mum is always complaining about it. going on the theory that you write about what you know and that i had "such a wonderful childhood" i apparently shouldnt be able to communicate those feelings across but in writing you can be anyone you and anything.
must read the rest of yours ! all the best

Wish i had the book, please tell me your getting help with getting it published? the style of writing makes it very easy to get into, i've got an authors page up but so far just my poetry is on it have a book in mind but it's not very bebo friendly at the moment ha ha so how long have you been writing for, cos you've really got what it takes but it ain't an easy thing to accomplish, you'l just have to stick at it. if you get the chance check out my site let me know what you think.
