      Last night (11/13/07) the Lester Public Library Board of Trustees unanimously approved a new mission statement for the library:

      Enrich your life and community.

      Working under the umbrella of our new mission Lester Public Library staff and Board can begin preparing a strategy for the future.
      Next up - creating a vision statement equally succinct... stay tuned!

      Dance Dance Revolution Party

      1:00-3:00 PM

      You’ve never played DDR like this before! Join in the fun as we play Dance, Dance Revolution Mario Mix and Dance, Dance Karoake Revolution on our big screen. Door prizes, snacks & soda provided. For teens in 6th-12th grade but younger children who know how to play are welcome to join in the fun. No registration required. Wear your dancing shoes!       The 'Teen Late Night' last Friday went super-great! 44 teens were locked in the library with 2 staff members - 7 pm to 11pm.

      We did not lose a teen. We did not lose a staff member. CRAZY fun with DDR...
