Sick. Sick. Sick. Sick. Sick. Sick. Sick.


That's what my daily planner would have looked like for the last week...if I had a daily planner. Sucks, ya?
I dunno why, but i'm just not getting any better. Medicines galore been taken in abundant measures, antibitoics (anyone heard of erythromycin? I still ain't sure it's even medicine now. lol), lemsip maxes a plenty (too many), lozenges for my throat (again, too many), and some panadol stuff too.

My condition tends to flutter between "I can feel that i'm sick, but it's not crippling" to "Argh the pain, the pain, my sickness is crippling right now". But no actually getting better. Just numbing and dulling and lack of hearing in my right side, and definite pain eating. Sucks.

On the plus side, full week off uni, full week at home, full week of games, movies, tv, and pizza. Lol. Not a wisp of hanging out with mates though. Sucks. Oh, and even sick, I got my restricted.

The first line tells ya the point, the secret chord. Now, it's (hopefully) well known that King David was a great man and lived his life in the Lord's walk, and was truly a man after God's own heart. I thought about the chord one day, and thought "Man, if only i could make a magic chord like that." And immediately i thought differently.

It wasn't a musical chord. David 'struck a chord' with God. He lived exactly the way God asked him to. That was the secret, not music, but his entire life, was lived in accordance (heehee) and that was the secret chord. There's a saying I know, basically, striking a chord with someone means you find a common way of thought or something similar between the two, and get along well.

David found the right chord to live in line with God.

The rest of the verse is cool too. The line "But you don't care for music do ya?" can be interpreted this way; You refers to the general public, any man woman and child, really. Not caring for music in this sense, is not being religious. Not be faithful and loving to God. Not caring about Him and just doing what you feel, or not everything He asks.

The way the chord goes, "the fourth, the fifth, the minor fall, the major lift." The way I see these. The fourth and fifth are simple. They represent the next steps, simply, just moving onwards and following the notes of the chord - the instructions God has for us, the Bible. The minor fall i relate to everything that goes wrong in life. The major lift - everything that goes right.

See, for everything that I get ripped up about (You rip my heart out, You rip my heart right out!) in my life, broken friendship(s), unrequited love, anything like that, I see it as minor. It's all gonna keep happening, really, cause that's the way life is. Ain't nobody gonna hit you harder than life, lol. But for everything that happens to me like, i find a million better things. When I had this unrequited love, I found that merely a few months later, I found a new friendship in it after I had gotten over it - I found something far more amazing than what I thought I wanted, and heh, this day even, I found myself over-ecstatic about it. It makes me so happy that I've got such a cool friend.

For that one bad point, there's something far greater that will be your reward for living in God's way coming in future, no matter how far along it may be. Heaven is the ultimate reward, I suppose, and that means it's pretty much the ultimate major lift.

FOR EVERY MINOR FALL, IF YOU KEEP GOD IN YOUR HEART, THERE WILL BE A MAJOR LIFT.

And that about wraps that up. The Baffled king just means David. Baffled in another version of the song is Battle King. David was a warrior, and king, and well...He composed Hallelujah is more or less he praised God. Always, keeping God as his guide, his way, his Lord.

Keep God as your guide, your way, your Lord, your friend!! Keep singing His chord.
