Been thinking about my boys, and the paths they have chosen.
I wanted to show them a different world a world that does not have conflict.
All they have ever known is war, pain and heartache growing up in their fathers country.
The small visits back to a place of refuge where I was raised was scarce.
Now after years of been away and living here it is time to go home, home to my tipuna.
I will return home for a break and then return back to the land my tamariki were raised.
I cant come home and leave my boys, I have already lost my only tamahine.
Maybe one day we will all return to my turangwaewae.
