My step sister got pregnant while on the depo provera, TWICE, i know people who have been on the pill and gotten pregnant, used condoms, etc etc etc and still have ended up pregnant, even vasectomys arent 100% foolproof sometimes even gettin ur tubes tied doesnt work! as i said the only 100% foolproof way of NOT gettin pregnant cus you DONT want a baby is not to have sex.... and yes ppl are going to continue having sex despite the risks of stds and unwanted pregnancys.

It's damn close to 100% foolproof though. And poeple continue having sex regardless of pregnancy and stds. Contraception is basically your best bet if you're alive from the waist down

Not to be a party pooper either, but have been doing some research on Hyperemesis Gravidarum, and it IS treatable.... and from what i read, very rarely is abortion advised for it either as it is treatable.

No it wouldnt shut me up about abortion...... 1) even if i did get Hyperemesis Gravidarum i would NOT abort, and yes i can say that without a shadow of a doubt cus i know who i am and what i believe.

I Have two words,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,hyperemesis gravidarum......for those of you that do not know what this is, it is a VERY EXTREME form of morning sickness (you cant eat EVER and all you can do is sleep)......it can be fatal(your organs begin to switch off one by one, due to the fact that you are starving and dehydrated).....I went to the doctor crying and saying that i felt I was gonna pass out..... and no doctor would help me....I remember thinking..."If i were to fall asleep, it would be good if I didnt wake up" MY only way out was an abortion....they wouldnt give me anti-sickness tablets (as they can damage the baby), so what else could I do....I had an abortion at 10 weeks.......but if I didnt do that.....the both of us would die anyway...............I deliberately got pregnant, but didnt know that was going to happen......does that make ME a bad person?..........NO........all i am saying is, do not judge if you do not have the experience...].O-fucking-K!

I think you would see our rape stats go up dramitcily. Or we would have them trying to kill their babies themselves. I think abortions are wrong, but where do we draw the line in saying there not allowed to have them. You need to think about what stopping abortions all together would actually do to the world? Yeaah we would be saving millions of babies, but what would happen in the future. If the mother really didn't want the child. I think stopping abortions would open a large can of worms.

I don't agree with abortions for my own reasons, but I know a few friends who have had them because they simply wouldn't cope with a child, or they've fallen pregnant &+ not able to afford the expense, or some have thought it would have ruined their relationship. I think a lot of them under-estimated their strengths, and now strongly regret having one. Should abortions be banned? Thats debatable tbh, i think the governments need a stronger program in place to ensure the girls having them are going to be able to cope with their choice. I think rape victims have good enough reason, but if the law was changed to "rape victims only" allowed to have abortions.

Monq...... alot of the teenage mothers are a damn site better than some of the "adult" mothers i know!!!! i was a teen mother 2.... twice.... i all up have 5 kids.... 4 to my ex husband and 1 with my partner... its people like you who judge teen mums that make me sick. who says a teen mother cannot support a baby? these days there are many ways to support your baby.... yup some include being on a benifit until you can work... family can help out... there are ways and means to do it....just because you are a teen mother IS NOT A REASON TO ABORT!

you cant expect a girl to give up 18 years of her life. it wouldnt be healty to be born to a teenage mother that cant support you. trying to make abortions illegal is taking away womans rights.
