- It's a jingling, jangling, clanging, banging, shapeless, weightless, invisible mess. I'm a big fan. I try now and then to catch up with the Top 40 stuff, but I still miss a lot of it. There's 10+ decades of popular music out there, not to mention heaps of much older folk songs, of which I've only heard a mere tittle. So I'd rather be my own DJ. As for video clips, to be honest, I don't really need a puppet show. Just give me a good song.

- I play. I don't play every day. I'm not a fantastic player. But I play some things. Basically I have a couple of guitars. It's a hobby. I like acoustic and electric guitar. I also have a lap steel guitar, but I'm still learning the basics of it, and don't get much of a chance to play that. I like pedal steel too but it would be even more confusing to attempt to play one of them. I also like other string instruments (fiddle, banjo, dobro, mandolin, bass, etc.) but can't play them and don't own them. Rock is often (though not always) limited to guitar and bass, while other styles have other sounds - horns, strings, pipes, piano etc.
