- Ballyreagh Silver is an amateur band with a long history hailing from the wilds of Tempo (well, just between Enniskillen and Tempo). Alhough we are situated in a rural area we aren't exactly 'backward' and have a membership of over 35 able musicians who attend on a weekly basis to enjoy a bit of an oul chat and a good blow! Our repertoire is varied stretching from the traditional brass band fodder of marches and hymns to more modern arrangements of popular classics such as "Amarillo" and TV themes like "James Bond". We are always keen to invite new members (both young and old) to join us on a Saturday nite and have a budding group of around 15 junior players who come along at 7.30pm - feel fee to drop in and see us if your passing. MAGHERA GAMES @ CURRAGH TEENAGE DISCO FRIDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER 2009 Special Guests the Alexander Brothers from Scotland will host a special concert on the Saturday night beginning at 8pm but the Scottish extravanganza will start on Thursday 17th with a Scottish and dance. There is plenty of happenings on Friday 18th with Fireworks up the road a wee bit at 8.30pm approximately and back again at the Marquee at 9-30pm sees the start of a Highschool Teenage disco. With sheepdogs performing and a Highland Warrior, together with DavyCrockett wandering about on the Saturday there is plenty going on. Of course that’s not counting a genuine American Indian Chief who was born near Maghera.

Hello to all of Ballyreagh! Just wanting to wish u all all the very best of luck for saturday, i will be thinking of it! Hope everyone plays the best they can- thats all you's can do! i'm sure Linda is being drove crazy this week! Wish i could have made it, William will do a better job!
