- Hi guys... I'm Simon and I'm married to beautiful Rachel, and we have THREE!! wonderful children --- Ruby Elizabeth, who's almost ready to start school, and Josiah David Robert, a rambunctious toddler --- and newborn Tobias Jonathon Roy! My Mum is Nanny to my kids and she makes the best fried bread in the world, and my Dad is my children's beloved Bumpa (my daughter struggled with the voiced labio-palatal 'g' in 'grandpa', & it's stuck...)
I'm a teaching pastor and shepherding elder with Eastside Apostolic Church here in Hamilton NZ, and I teach theology and biblical studies at Vision College.
Study-wise, I'm chipping away at an MTh at BCNZ, and I'm enjoying studying Te Ara Reo Maori at Raroera Campus at the Wananga this year with my good friend Jason Blake.
I love playing with my children, reading a good novel, spending time with Rachel, collecting Roman coins and watching a good movie...

Man, "Lost" rocks!! The mysteries are phenomenal -- I've got so any questions!
What is the black smoke/monster?
Why couldn't it go through the sonic barrier?
Why did it kill Eko?
What happened to the Swan station? How come Desmond wound up with no clothes on? How come Desmond had flashes of the future?
Wh (or what) is Jacob? Is he trapped by the ash around the cabin? Is he in charge, or Ben?
What's the story with the ghostbuster Miles Straume (the cocky Asian guy) that Locke and co. have captured?
What's up with the four toed statue?
Why is the physicist Daniel Faraday part of the team from 'the Kahana'?
