- The Galactic Center of Coruscant (pronounced /'kʊɹəsɑnt/) was the political hub of the galaxy for millennia. It was generally agreed that Coruscant was, during most of Galactic history, the most politically important world in the galaxy. At various times, it was the capital of the Galactic Republic, the Galactic Empire, the New Republic, the center of Yuuzhan Vong occupation, and the Galactic Alliance. A large number of the galaxy's trade routes—including the Perlemian Trade Route, the Corellian Run, the Metellos Trade Route, the Koros Trunk Line, and the Leisure Corridor—went through Coruscant, making it one of the richest worlds in the galaxy. Tellingly, the planet's hyperspace coordinates were (0,0,0), and the military designation was Triple Zero.
In Recent Years following the end of the Sith War Sparta took Control of Coruscant. It is now home to the Spartan Fleet.

History
Coruscant was considered by many to be the Human homeworld. Millennia ago, the Architects could have removed Humans from Coruscant with which to populate Corellia.
Around 200,000 BBY, the near-Human Taungs attempted to conquer the 13 baseline Human nations of the Battalions of Zhell. A volcano decimated the Zhell, the ash filling the skies for two years, so the Taungs adopted the name Dha Werda Verda (Warriors of Shadow) for themselves. The Human Zhell eventually recovered and drove the Taungs offworld—the Taungs fled to Roon.
One hundred millennia later, Coruscant was surveyed by the Columi, who dismissed the planet as a primitive disappointment, despite the planet-spanning ecumenopolis of Galactic City. New buildings were built on the old. As a result, there was virtually no exposed land. In the forgotten underlevels of the city, there was darkness, pollution and crime. Higher up, there were government offices and penthouses owned by the elite. The lower fifty levels of the ecumenopolis last saw sunlight around 95,000 BBY.
Coruscant was one of many worlds conquered by the Infinite Empire of the Rakata, who used Human slaves to build the Star Forge in 30,000 BBY. Under Rakatan domination, the Humans of Coruscant's colonization attempts were limited to sleeper ships, which ended up on Alderaan, in the Tion Cluster, Seoul 5, Kuat, Alsakan, Axum, Anaxes, Atrisia, Metellos, Corulag, and many other worlds. The Rakata were eventually decimated by a massive plague, leading to slave revolutions on Coruscant and other subjected worlds.
Over the next two centuries, Coruscant was linked to other Core Worlds, including Corellia and Duro, by hyperspace cannons. It was during this time that the Coruscant government peacefully absorbed the nearby Azure Imperium. During these pre-Republic years, the languages of Coruscant and its neighbors meshed to become Old Galactic Standard.

In 25,000 BBY, the Corellians and Duros invented the hyperdrive proper, allowing Coruscant to become the capital of a democratic union—the Galactic Republic. The planet remained the Republic's capital for twenty five thousand years. Shortly after the formation of the Republic, the Perlemian Trade Route was mapped, linking Coruscant to Ossus and bringing the Jedi Knights into the Republic. Over the next millennium, the Corellian Run was mapped, linking Coruscant to Corellia and beyond. Blasters were also invented on Coruscant around this time, and the famous Galactic Museum was constructed in 12,000 BBY.
From the very beginning, Coruscant, as the Republic's capital, was the primary objective in several wars. The earliest among these was the Tionese War with the Honorable Union of Desevro and Tion in 24,000 BBY, in which Coruscant was bombarded with Tionese pressure bombs. Other early battles included the Alsakan Conflicts, the Duinuogwuin Contention, the Great Hyperspace War, the Third Great Schism, the Great Droid Revolution, and the Great Sith War.
Following the devastation of Ossus, the Jedi Council took up residence in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, to which many Jedi relics from Ossus were taken. The Temple was greatly expanded, including the building of the original Jedi Council Chamber. The Temple was repeatedly expanded including in 3,519 BBY, 2,519 BBY (when the Jedi Archives were built), 2,019 BBY, and 1,000 BBY (when the Temple spires were built).
In 2,973 BBY, the Senate Rotunda was founded, replacing the previous assembly place. The exterior of this massive structure would survive the planet's transformation into the new Yuuzhan'tar.

Moving into formation the Leviathan and the Second Sith Fleet began to open fire on the Defending Fleet aiding, although it didn't need it, the Abyss. Several other ships broke away from the attack and headed down to the Planet. The Sith would have vengeance this day.
The Abyss moved forward. Thousands of cannons fired at the Terran Flagship all at once. Its shear size was matched by the massive number of weapons on it. But this was not its main feature. The Abyss had an advanced Shielding. It was constantly changing frequency meaning no blaster fire could find the right frequency to damage it. This matched with the fact that the ship could self repair itself in the heart of battle made it the perfect weapon for the First of the Sith. Several Squads Nocturno Fighters then flew forward to the battle. One by one they took out the Mines. There would be no Mercy
[1] "Incoming ordinance. Brace for impact!" The Abyss attack couldn't strike the entire fleet due to their formation, and the attack only impacted against the shields of the stationary ship. Due to its size, the Abyss wouldn't be able to move fast, but the much smaller battle cruisers could run rings around it, which they did, circling in under the ship, the smaller cruisers assaulted the underside of the Abyss, their powerful plasma beams pounding their shields. Aboard the Terran flagship, the Admiral gave the order "Activate the mines" As the fighters approached the fleet, they would strike the now active minefield, sensor triggered mines layed out between the two fleets, undetectable until now, when it was too late as the smaller fightercraft were absorbed in the explosions and destroyed.
[2] Moving ahead of the fleet, a much larger ship, one matching in size to an Eclipse-Class SSD, approached the Abyss from the front, its shields now clearly visible as the turbo-laser fire struck, from the dorsal missile bays, hundreds of missiles soared across space and impacted on the Abyss' shields
The Massive War Ship the belonged to Darth Teron began to move towards the Planet. Ahead of it was several squadrons of Fighters. Its shields were up and all its thousands of cannons opened fire at the oncoming Fleet. The shear size dwarfed all of the Republic Fleet.
Hal watched as the ships mobilise, raising an open communication broadcast to the sith fleet "Stand down and you will be allowed to leave peacefully, attack, and face the full force of the Terran Navy, I repeat, stand down or be destroyed" Hal cut off the broadcast and turned to the Bridge crew "Raise shields and arm all weapons, but don't target anyone until they provide reason to"

As the enemy fleet assembled, more Terran warships appeared from FTL, grouping up in equal distances between the planet and the sith fleet until a total of 70 ships stood against the enemy, the majority of the fleet was comprised of larger warships, mixed with smaller Destroyers and Battle Cruisers. Smaller craft launched from their carriers, to form up in the void between and infront of the fleet, a mixture of fighters, and ECF's
The lead ship of the Second Sith Fleet moved forward slightly. And still did nothing. On the bridge of the Ship stood Lord Dracul. One of Darth Teron's personal elite and a veteran of a great man Space Battles. Dracul stood ready to receive the order from Fleet Command
”Captain, the Ryza-pattern Nova Cannons are online. Our astropathic sensors are picking up a wide fleet assembling just outside Coruscant’s orbital field. Also we are detecting large ships, a few miles in length, if we engage now we can take them out with our weapons system God Splitter.”
The Tech-Priest was speaking with Captain Axion of the Divine Intervention. They were currently anchored in the warp, invisible and unreachable by anyone outside the immaterial universe. The Gellar Field that protected the ship from the horrific currents of the warp glowed brightly though the stained glass windows let the purple light pour in.
”Tech-Priest do you believe the cooling injectors can sustain the plasma-based macro bomb? We have four Ryza-pattern’s attached to this ship, each being powered by the most advanced plasma-star reactor engines your kind has ever fabricated. We will wait till I feel like engaging!”
In orbit over the planet, a single Terran warship stood alone as the sith fleet emerged. Looking out over it, Hal breathed deep before exhaling "Battle stations, set condition one. Open a general communication to the sith fleet" The sith ships would receive a general hail, Hals voice came across the comms "Sith fleet, surrender and retreat, or be destroyed" Shutting off the comm, Hal turned to the major "Like that'll ever happen, hail Titus"
-Finally punching through hyperspace a massive shadow was cast. Atowering warship moved into position. Republic sensors would register it as "The Annihilator" A massive super star destroyer capable of untold destruction had finally made its appearence. Behind the massive Dreadnought were two sovereign class super star destroyers.
-The lord of destruction himself stood on the vessels bridge and looked out to the republic's defences. He grinned under his mask.-
"And now....it begins...."
A second Fleet of Sith Ships dropped out of hyperspace this one comprised of dozens of Harrower-class dreadnought. Each Ship like all the others waited.
The Massive Flag Ship of that belonged to the Emperor's Wrath dropped out of hyperspace. The Republic sensors would remember it well as the Abyss. It was massive in size but the fact it just remained stationary doing nothing like the rest of the fleet was more terrifying.

|Griever| had sent his fleet, this was surely a sign that the lord of Rage himself planned to make an appearance during this battle, the bane of the republic and devour-er of the sith empire had made his move...
In the great black void, sensor beacons that indicated mass hyperspace formations began to go off, Indicating a sizable fleet was approaching.-
-For those defending the capitol planet every ship would be needed, for only one force in the galaxy had a fleet of the size that was now coming.-

The dead war head's released as soon as the fuel burnt out. Ending the propulsion. The massive warhead's that lowered from hatch's on winch's fired and wheeled off into space wildly. Heading to the planet's moon. But the warhead's had been removed and all that remained was the shell's "Take us home Commander. Destination Earth"
"Aye Commander" Hal turned to the contol's "All starboard motor's, Ignight. Diable all warhead's, Lock them and Fire them. This should give us some momentum hopefully"
