Metal Gears are a fictoinal Product of the Metal Gear Solid Franchise. They are typically unconvntional tanks, usualy used as nuclear weapon luanch platforms.

The Document
The Document of MGS2 is well worth parting with £10 for. Its not a game, but a collection of all the stuff that wen't into the making of MGS2: Sons of liberty. The amin feature for me is a 3D model of Metal Gear RAY and REX. It gives a proper veiw of the Mechs that you cant quite get from the In-game cinematics. It also has a 3D Navigateble image of the crash site of metal gear Arsenal (a shot which was deleted from the final game due to the 9/11 incident. The 3D model of RAY is animated, and it also comes with a Model of RAY's cockpit.
