Oh yeah, we finished SilverFern and it was heaps of fun. My claim to fame was I did a quicker time than one of the Safety (Zero) cars on the very last stage, and I still had to keep left and had a car full of heavy people and gear. Go the Surf!

Hows things? Still in Australia?

I am at Logans and we are about to change his gearbox on the Cressida and finish off my new axle. (I broke that welded one at Little River) but no fear we found an actual LSD axle (the rare ones) at Nissbits for only $85, so that is all good.

We have Hawkswood Road sprint (out by Cheviot) in a few weeks so we are both entering that. No other real news, although I'm buying Guitar Hero World Tour (complete with guitar, mic and drums!) in the next week when it gets released. Epic drinking times ahead.

Still planning to go to Aussie or Raro next year sometime too.

Hey mate, had our CCC Prizegiving / AGM tonight. Got back the Club Champs trophy with my name on it under yours, finally not just babysitting it anymore.

Also received the Presidents trophy award for Motorsport, so real surprised and stoked about that.

Hope everything is going well for you mate, give us an update Logan should be heading your way soon? (if you have left Aussie?)

Oh, and randomly, Allan, Shane and I won the Trials trophy, so we got to get up and receive it. Never thought 2.5 years ago that would ever happen - being we originally started with Shane just trying to pass everyone, me pointlessly trying to work out what was going on, and you and Logan in the backseat drunk. Good times

Our SilverFern meeting went well, seems like I have a lot on my plate to handle now - we are running the Cathedral Square start of rally deal. Should be good fun anyway

Still planning to be in Australia and then Malaysia in the near future, just depends when Tash has time from study and I have annual leave left again, and a bit of $$, and we'll be there.

Thanks mate, yeah I am stoked, nice to be able to sit back and not have to do everything all over again! (Since I did pretty much do everything 2 years in a row). Looking forward to just sticking with Hillclimbs, Gravel sprints and a few autocrosses.

Travelling northern Australia sounds mint - esp going for a cruise, that would have been hell nice. You'd be having much better weather than what we've had - its been stormy here with major flooding at times. And holy shit about the driving - 3000kms - thats the max I plan to be driving over the whole of the SilverFern rally, and thats heaps!

Good to hear sorting parts & the business is coming along, keep me updated with how all that goes. Nate, Al and I are organising the launch / start parade for SilverFern at Cathedral Square so off to a meeting shortly to organise that.

Then next weekend is Ashley Forest Rallysprint which I'm the Assistant Clerk of Course. Can't wait for that!

Speed event was mayhem - definetly last event I'll do on the old tyres, going to see the Russells on Sunday to look at some new ones. Also about time for new brake pads too.

Chris Protheroe blew his motor up, spilling a good 4 or so litres all over the track, sending another 3 of 4 cars spinning off the track. Mark Wederell lost control in his MX5, left the track, and then slid back onto the track slamming into... your old Corolla! The front is a bit smashed up, will need new metal bumper / bonnet / front guards - not sure what other damage was caused though.

Yeah, the protest was cause road users went up, but the increasing cost of diesel - $1.92 a litre isn't hleping matters.

Not sure when next Autocross is - RATEC has postponed the one from last Sunday to end of August . I agree - still miss the POS though, damn that thing did well.

Well, you still just missed a mega cold snap. Autocross got cancelled last Sunday due to the heavy rain, so went to breakfast with Tash and then to Kung Fu Panda which is worth a watch.

Looking forward to heading over to Aussie come December time.
