- We thought since there was a group for Christians on bebo, we thought it was only fair that there should be one for Atheists.
Atheism is defined as "not having a 'god belief'." This is important to remember, because it's not that an atheist doesn't believe in god, because that statement opens the possibility that god or a supreme being exists. The atheist's worldview is driven by pure rationality, reason, and the scientific method. The result of this is that most atheists hold the theory of evolution to be true, and they reject the possibility of the spiritual world and an afterlife. yeah, i've never personally been to a Christian school (thank God) but i've heard alot of bad things about them. I heard from a young age they threaten the children with eternal hellfire if they don't accept Jesus/God. Is it true? They also lie to them about the Theory of Evolution, making it seems inaccurate all the while alluring them to religon with false truths.
I'm no athiest, but i'm no religious believer. I personnally don't like the thought of religion. But , not because they are against homosexuality. I just don't believe most of the crap they try to feed me. My parents keep taking me to and signing me up for things at our church. If they can't prove it thenwhy try to sell it. They have never, ever proved to me there is a god. Good Cunnt had a good point.
muchly agreed. it sux coz i go 2 a christian school and almost everyone there is christian. they also make us look up bible verses in heaps of the classes (even sose). TOTALLY unesscessary.
