i guys, just to inform you all that i'm not allwed to attend this meeting!!!!! as city of edinburgh council doesnt have fuinding etc or youth workers for us we havnt had any for months !! so ....... i dont know whats happening !

Hi Guys...
I've been working on the task Simon set us all!
I arranged a meeting with the the local inspector and cheif constable at my local police station!

Unfortunatly the police won't have me walking around with them as you do Simon,
1. beacause of my age and 2 because if something was to happen then the police can't keep an eye on me...

However we have agreed that when I turn 16 they shall take me out in a car with them and head oot on patrol and let me get an idea of things!
until then i shall still be working closely with the police,Volunteering at bluelight discos and helping them interact with young people in schools!! So overall it looks quite promising, plus i'll be out on the streets anyway with my local detached youth team!

Has anyone else made any progress?

hey Thats Great !!! lol yea i got my exams from the 1st, 6th, 8th 20th & 30th and somethign else lol i forgot lol so any time accecpt them, and maby like a sunday or sat ??

yeah there is exams so may is a dodgy time
so mabey a weekend visit would be best
the 8th of may is definetley out
but also there is a very big family celebration taking place in may, but the date is yet tbc.

1st, 2nd, 6th, 8th, 9th, 19th, 20th, 23rd, 27th

All other dates SHOULD be okay if i have planned my diary right, which i have so no worries

We have it!!

Today Polmount has confirmed that we can go into the prision to perform our consulation on the educational oppertunites and rehabitation needs for young offenders in Scotland.

I need and ask for all of you to try to attend this vist and we are ever closer to reaching our campaign TARGET!!! Can you see it! I can and we must!!!

Two things however are a concern:

1. i need everyone to give me three dates in May that they are available to go into Polmount to give to them and see when ever can make it!!!

2. Polmount has said that it is policy that 18's and over will be allowed in!!!! I dont things so! I havent sent Steven Kidd and Martin from the office to ask Polmount to rethink this and change their mind.

Hey Guys Hope we are all well. Nothing much is happening at the mo as polmount is due to get back to us by this week so i will let you all know what is happen with this. Also as a little task i want everyone to contact and set up a meeting with their local police and even try to arrange to go out on protrol with them as i do regular in dundee. plz send me updates tho here and see what progress we can make. Any problerms let me know and/or the office are we can try to see what we can do if their is any barriers.

Also i want everyone to post what everyone is doing in their local areas so we can see what things are goin on to see if we can share any ideas.

Okay people this is IT...
2008 is officialy here and it's here with a vengance!!! and so are we

lets remeber our mission statement and try and stick to it, cause' it is so important that we achieve our goals !

Each member in the group i know without a doubt will do any task when asked and so SIMON GET ON IT, WE NEED SOMETHING TO DO !!!!
