Last Night Out.
Hello all,
Hear ye, hear ye, the last Law Society night out this year is this Wednesday 23rd April in Madison's (Botanic Avenue). It's fancy dress and the theme of the night is 'What I Want To Be When I Grow Up!' (- taller! Ha ha ha, wow, I'm hilarious!) The election results for next year's Law Society will also be announced. So forget about your coursework and exams for one night and live out your dreams of becoming a judge, or a dinosaur. There will be drinks promotions and prizes for the best dressed. Doors open at 9.30 and admission is £3 for members and £4 for non-members. It's your last chance to dress up and have the cee-raic before the exams so we look forward to seeing you all there.

The contentious point was that your Mystery Tour was unreal and never to be bettered, my last comment merely pointed out that in fact the 07/08 mystery tour was much better and i backed this up with evidence...
O and point of information... last year's tour also had Barry Duffy...

How many went to your nights out last year...o yea wasnt it something like 20...o yea we have 450 at r 2nd night out! We also folowed thru with what we said we would and actually have drinks promos etc. Our mooting officer is keepin well and has a moot tonight, the magazine is released next week so emmmmm Law Soc 07-08, jus face it....ur not all ur made out to be...Law School even said it themselves! We still love ya tho!
You're hole it was unreal never to be beat, number 1, it went to a stop that the dentistry mystery tour had been to 3 weeks earlier. Number 2, 07/08 mystery tour got all of their buses to the last stop. Number 3, 3 hours between the 1st and 2nd stop when it only should have taken 1 hour, Number 4, there was a bus left at the Union as the Law Soc executive had not informed the bus driver where he was supposed to be driving to, Number 5, 07/08 mystery tour cost 25 sheets for a ticket and included a full meal of chicken curry, rice and chips, it also included karaoke and a buckin bronco, whereas the 08/09 mystery tour cost 30 sheets and included 10 chips and a few bits of chicken... no karaoke, no bronco, nothing else, just a 50 minute stay at the 2nd stop and a few bus-loads of people sleeping by the 3rd stop....
In response to VP Education Kevin Kelly (whos monthly reports are always fucking shite) - the Law Society of 08/09 is much superior than 07/08. A turn out of 450 at a night out speak volumes. And our mystery tour was unreal - never to be beat.
Here, QUB Law Society 07/08, did all your buses make it to the last stop of your Mystery Tour? Did everyone enjoy it and wasn't fucked off by the length of it e.g. 3 hours between stops?
